Brian Walker will not be replaced without a knife fight.

Game Day: Edmonton @ Winnipeg (Pre-Season) June 1, 2018
Fatty Liver replied to Rich's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Way better than the 45 sec. highlight package TSN provided, I'm about fed up with their piss-poor promotion of the CFL. -
Hell, I'd cut the QB's to 3 as they did last year, save some bucks and cut the dead weight now, use the P.R. spots for players who realistically have a chance to progress and contribute in the future, not wasted on pretend stories.

Game Day: Edmonton @ Winnipeg (Pre-Season) June 1, 2018

Not one bloody moving picture to be found in the whole bloody digital universe not focused on Johnny Manziels's bloody arse? Where are the bloody Bomber highlights??? Any reports on LB performances? -
I think the best Augustine can hope for this year is a P.R. spot, possible savings on the horizon if he can replace LaFrance next season.

Has Wilson looked better than highly touted Quentin Gause?

CJOB will be broadcasting Bob Irving's voice in Technicolor. https://globalnews.ca/radio/cjob/player/?gref=cjob#/

It looks like Jhurellvis has been returned to sender.

On second view, I think KR is his only real hope, too short for a receiver and the age of scat backs is virtually gone, RB's need enough power to punch their own holes and shrug off tacklers. Harris, Flanders, Wilder, Messam, Cameron Marshal, Anthony Allan, Jeremiah Johnson, John White, Alex Green, William Powell...all tough backs who can make yards on their own with or without decent holes.

Now a few of their "big foreheads" are suggesting the Bombers will scoop him up. 😂
-
Neither played enough to make much of a difference and in Macho's case he actually played quite well in a limited role on S.T.. His reputation preceded him from his time with the Riders. I actually made the list in jest to serve the "haters", I think it's completely idiotic to blame the woes of a football team on a select few individuals, it's a team game.

If they cut Lankford a new list of scapegoat prospects will have to be assembled, leading candidate Richie Hall. Kuale Gregg Peach Marcel Bellefeuille Romby Bryant Lirim Hajrullahu Drew Willy Bruce Johnson Roc Carmichael Sam Hurl
-
That was his reputation with the Riders but there has been no evidence of it in his time with the Bombers.....so far. Fun fact, Lankford weighs the same as Dressler, 168 lbs. but is 3" taller.

Shifty + versa-tile.

The good Clarence or the invisible Clarence?

Highly recommend watching "Wild Wild Country" a very interesting 6 part documentary on Netflix about the controversial Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and his followers who created an isolated commune in Wasco County, Oregon during the 1980's much to the chagrin of their fellow Oregonians. Highlights the hypocrisy of Americans promoting the concepts of freedom and democracy in other parts of the world but having very little tolerance for it happening on their own soil. Next up "Waco".

From my perspective he epitomizes their fan-base accurately.

What a nifty little league, the people directly involved in the game can adjust the rules to improve the game and can implement the changes quickly. Have to like that.

Myles White sounds like he's the real deal, the Bombers brought him in prior to game #17 last season in early Oct. If they could have tested and evaluated him effectively in that time-frame perhaps they would not have gone out and signed Bowman earlier this spring for what $150,000? Not saying Bowman was not a great pickup but taking on his larger salary may not have been entirely necessary if they just trusted they're process a little more and had faith in the birds they already have in hand....just seems odd to me.
-
Never, he's one of the untouchables. When his time comes, he will be given the off-season to announce his retirement on his own terms.

Nothing a little Zamfir "Master of the Pan Flute" couldn't fix!

Seems like a fairly inappropriate sound track to post with your resume, call me a fuddy but I don't gets it.
-
One encouraging prospect for the future is that Simonise or Petermann may eventually be able to fill in for an Import receiver as a game day replacement with little to no drop off, freeing up a D.I. position.

Jeremy Zver has announced his retirement at age 24, he's the O-line player Jones swiped off the Lions PR a couple years back.
