  1. Carlton Agudosi is available, they could book it as his redemption.
  2. Duke will take a Dru Brown half-step to a bigger salary which should allow the Argos to retain a lot of the type of players Wpg. can no longer afford. Coast to coast QB's are settling in around $400-$450k, paying more comes with side effects.
  3. I suppose if you're a pro wrestling fan reality isn't much of a concern for you, but McMahon Stadium has nothing to do with Vince McMahon or his family.
  4. Nevermind the football stadium this game could be played in a cornfield, it's shaping up to be a game well worth attending. Expect it to be a real dog fight to the finish.
  5. As far as I could tell Schmeck barely got any snaps, did not see Jake ever leave the field. I'm no "Jake hater" but the amount of reps him and Willie are taking right now makes no sense.
  6. The Argos have to be seriously considering dumping Chad Kelly and his inflated contract after seeing what Duke is capable of, it would be a win monetarily as well in terms of public relations. Don't think they could find a trading partner willing to take on his odour, they might have to dump him outright.
  7. Demski touched the ball with one finger, he's good but not that good. Must be important for you to point out this flaw in a spectacular performance to bring it up twice.
  8. Jeffcoat was good at getting in VA's face and very disciplined maintaining his position so he couldn't escape the pocket. I'm super certain Garbutt, Haba, Fayad will be much better than old man Jeffcoat ever was.
  9. 3 newcomers in the secondary vs. V.A. and their explosive passing attack may be hard to keep up with if the Bomber offence stutters and stalls. Not hard to recall Dominic Rhymes getting within 5 yards of the endzone in the WF last season on botched coverage.
  10. Could be Kolo is the best snapper of the 3, anytime they switch Centers snaps seem to go haywire quickly, which pisses off #1 Zach.
  11. The LB crew isn't that powerful a group, I'd question the effectiveness of that layout without anyone resembling any of the following on the current staff. Tyrone Jones, James West, Greg Battle, Paul Randolph, Delbert Fowler
  12. They need an impactful DE more than a DT, if there's money to spend I'd go after AC Leonard to bookend and revive Willie.
  13. Walters spent all his money like a degenerate gambler in Vegas, got nothing left to repair the car now.
  14. Don't understand your take, you're expecting him to inherit the starting QB role without demonstrating he's earned it?
  15. It's officially "show me" season for Strev.
  16. Not much would have changed even if they added Woods last game, with the injuries to Fox, Haba and Garbutt they have an unexpected crisis on their hands. Losing Jeffcoat they've made appropriate changes to the D-line for this season, can't rationally fault those choices, with injuries they're now forced to make a few more adjustments.
  17. Bring Cedric Wilcots back, he's a Jr. imitation of Jeffcoat in style and he might still be here if they hadn't traded him away for Alden Darby.
  18. People maybe don't realize accepting a PR position in a different country far from home and familiar faces for little pay is a pretty tough decision for any player to make. Players who are overly confident in their ability might gamble that the next opportunity to play pro football will come along shortly, others won't have the confidence to make that decision and accept whatever is offered. Rivers has a taste of fame on his resume which might open doors others don't have access to.
  19. Do they have the LB depth to back that up? Cole was largely invisible last game for some reason, everytime I thought I saw him it turned out to be Kramdi making plays.
  20. Head and shoulders the most effective ST player last game, bad choice.
  21. The team is not where they or anyone else expected them to be two games in, now they're fighting for their life with 2 tough games on the horizon and no easy matchup anywhere to be found. They may have miscalculated the luxury they foresaw having allowing Strev. mucho reps closing out games with bountiful leads. The past shows, when O'Shea gets nervous about losing games he tends to coach more conservatively and rarely relaxes enough to provide backups of any stripe gametime to grow or further expand their role anytime 2 pts. are still on the line. If anything he's probably going to tighten Bucks choke chain and we'll see less opportunity for Strev. to broaden his showcase, even though it could be a determining factor in securing victories. We shall see.
  22. Highlight reels are wonderful, but it's up to Strev. to prove it this season if he wants to be anything more than a gimmick QB in the CFL. Two games down and the clock is ticking.
  23. Faint praise, you can see by Stanley's body language he's re-living 2015-16 and wondering why he came back.
