  1. Should be some extra SMS savings to spend now.
  2. We got Poop.
  3. Might have to go shopping for a temp. fix, Corney can't back up both ends. Foley would have been a decent option and might still be available at the right price, or trade Nevis for Eddie Steele and shift the ratio to DT.
  4. A well prepared secondary could have a field day picking off Reilly's throws, that's for sure. This is nothing new, he's always been a gambler and chucks the ball well down field often on a hope and a prayer when he probably shouldn't . Fortunately for him, his receivers catch a lot of them.
  5. It's not quite as black and white as it seems. the following article explains his disgruntlement in more detail. http://ottawacitizen.com/sports/local-sports/redblacks-release-disgruntled-linebacker-khalil-bass Here is an excerpt. “(Bass) wasn’t going to be starting on defence (in Montreal),” Redblacks GM Marcel Desjardins. “Serderius (Bryant) was going to start at WILL (linebacker), Khalil was going to back up (Taylor Reed) at MIKE (linebacker). That didn’t sit well with him.” Bass had been doing a slow burn inside for nearly two months. After missing a 24-19 victory against the Alouettes on July 19 because of an injury, he returned for a July 24 loss against the Toronto Argonauts, but his reps had been reduced. “My reps had been decreasing every week, all the way back to the Toronto game, my first game back from being injured,” Bass said Friday. “I felt, when the game was on the line, I wasn’t in. It showed me they didn’t believe in me when I felt I needed to be on the field. All I wanted to do was help the team win and I wasn’t on the field to do that. I didn’t feel like they had a belief in me and my abilities. I just didn’t fit into their plans.”
  6. "Let me tell you why you're Wrong." TBurgess
  7. Shouldn't the job of admissions be to tell people that are not in medical emergency to go somewhere else and not admit them? Seems too simple....Vote for me!
  8. Well Popp is gone, so one of the Wetenhall's must be responsible for this predilection.
  9. "I Can't Remember what I did Last Night" Ian Wild "Which Way did he Go, Moe?" Sam Hurl "Subtraction by Addition" Roc Carmichael "The Secret Life of Mike O'Shea" Roc Carmichael "Cut Me if you Can, F*ckers!" Clarence Denmark
  10. Am I the only one that doesn't have a clue what people are commenting about the last couple of weeks? Who is Hew? I blame Twitter for my obsolescence.
  11. I'm on episode 6 and finding it somewhat irritating.
  12. Thigpen? Must have brought him in for returns, looks like they won't be calling on Chad Owens anytime soon.
  13. No "Poop" Johnson sightings either.
  14. Must have been, I haven't seen the Sasquatch around lately....
  15. I woke up to a huge dump of bear poop on my driveway this morning. We live in harmony, I look out for bear and stay inside and he looks out for me and stays outside.
  16. Nevis has not lived up to billing imo, he looked like a beast with the Ticats but it could be playing with Laurent made him look more dangerous than he actually is. He's doing well blocking up the running lanes but penetration in the two Rider games was as different as night and day with the advantage going to Poop. Hopefully Ekakitie picks up the game quickly so that they can maintain a rotation while shedding some salary next season.
  17. With 17 players currently on the 6 game Jones will have to shed some skin when they come off, he can't stash them all.
  18. Thank-you Mr. Party-Pooper.
  19. Popp is in no position to laugh at anyone else, he earned his firement.
  20. I think Adams forced their hand, rumour has it he has been disgruntled ever since they signed Durant and being relegated to #3 probably put him over the edge. Why they picked up Willy remains a mystery.
  21. They looked pretty darn good against the Stamps, should be ranked 3rd in reality.
  22. He also made an excellent ST tackle on the kick return that ended the first half, Morris would have turned the corner if it wasn't for Lankford's BLAZING speed cutting him down. Add that to the TD saving tackle he made on Logan earlier this year that makes 3 TD's scored and at least one he's prevented. The guy is a human grey-hound, LaPo just needs to figure out how to utilize his speed more effectively and more often and rewards will be reaped. Much like McDuffie last year, Lankford is a great specialty tool to have in the toolbox.
