That is taking the play out of context, there was no reason to call a fake at that time with poor field position in a tight fought play-off game. It was a psychological punch to the gut for O'Shea, the team and every Bomber fan watching the game from which they did not recover. Rewind the memory bank of inappropriate timing and this fake exceeds the stupidity of Medlock's failed pass attempt earlier in the season against BC. No reason for that play call at that time.

None of the analysts have mentioned Flanders, hard to believe they don't recognize his potential contribution to this game, if healthy he should be a key target today.

RB's better start using their arms on tackles, so far their D sucks. -
I would highly recommend "Playmakers", it's a series that takes you behind the scenes into the locker room of a fictional pro football team and covers "football" related topics much better than "Ballers" does. If at all accurate in the details, these pro athletes pay a huge price for their brief football careers in terms of life expectancy and physical health.

Day Before Game Thread with Depth Chart

I suspect they'll dress Lankford just in case Flanders goes down and they might insert him for certain plays. Fogg is going to have a busy day chasing Zylstra, no way he is adding kick off returns to his burden as the chart indicates. -

Not defending anyone found guilty of committing these acts but the tidal wave of accusations rolling in sets a dangerous precedent because an accuser can currently damage or completely ruin an individuals career, livelihood and reputation based upon "he said, she said" evidence. We've already seen this happen to multiple school teachers and this will soon become a tool that the political establishment embraces fully as they try to bring down their opponents any way that they can. In an age when almost every person carries on their person a camera, recording device and instant access to help, the burden of proof should be established before accusations can be publicly exposed. Innocent until proven guilty does little good if an individual has already been publicly humiliated and black-balled.

Oy vey, the odds are certainly stacked this week.

From Jeff Hamilton: Matt Nichols wasn't at practice Friday so he could be there for the birth of his baby girl Parker. #wfp I would have named her Shiny Nichols or Woody if she had been a he.....opportunity lost.

Bob Irving @BobIrvingCJOB NO Matt Nichols on Bomber practice field!!??? Resting, relapse? The intrigue continues. I still expect him to play Sunday. This has gone well past strategic announcements and gamesmanship, Nichols is going to be worth half a Nichol if he plays at all on Sun.

That's just science, one discovery supersedes, enhances or replaces the last discovery, and it's a never ending process.

Both O'Shea and Hall deny that their D scheme is "bend but don't break" and they've denied it several times over the past two years. Sheesh. -

They have their post-game show archived but not the pre-game. http://www.tsn.ca/radio/winnipeg-1290/blue-bomber-game-day-1.96495 -
Go back to pre-season against the Esks., Davis threw the ball about 60 yds. in the air on a completion to Washington.
-
Season 2 was great, didn't like season 3 as much as the first two but still worth watching.
-
I honestly prefer Lankford over Washington, he's been great on those jet-sweeps and he can run down any returner in the league when he plays ST. I also think he's a better kick returner than Givens, but won't admit it publicly.

Harris was running rampant once he got to their second level.

Worse yet, Messam did not seem to adjust his footwear for the second half.
