3 turds plus crappy honker vet preseason part 2

Faint praise, you can see by Stanley's body language he's re-living 2015-16 and wondering why he came back. -

Are you denying the sacks happened or just being selective in your criticism of the O-line play? -

Dobson was manhandled at least twice and was responsible for sacks given up on each occasion, him and Kolo are short armed strugglers playing at the edge of their athletic ability and are easily tipped off balance. -

No no no, Buck Buck Buck. -
Wilson has caught every pass thrown his way in every game he's played so far, throw him more passes and you may see why they chose him over Wheatfall.

If you look at all those LB's you already know they form the heart of O'Shea's ST and always have, a team which he is trying to rebuild and also provide rookie STC Mike Miller all the tools he needs to do so. Some of these LB's have no other purpose at this point but to serve Mike Miller. -

Waiting for Garbutt to come back, no one else left in the hopper. -
Yah he does, still hasn't figured out that 2011 GC loss to Lulay and the Lions were he struggled woefully to move the ball all damn game. Since that painful day I've lost faith in his ability to figure anything out on the go. If it wasn't for LaPo's inherited playbook to use as a roadmap, I suspect he'd be sitting in his office with a paper bag over his head mumbling to himself between long drawn out pauses.

Kongbo seems to be the opposite of Winston Rose, doesn't seem to get along well with anybody. -

It appears the top seat in BC is occupied by two butts with Rick Campbell and Neil McEvoy sharing the GM role, in reality this is probably little more than Campbell having a veto over stupidity, which he never had when he was in Ottawa. Ringmaiden may have to look elsewhere if he wants to progress his career above his current position as it's crowded at the top. -

It's probably going to take Zach getting knocked out of a game before we get to see Strev. in an expanded role, till then he's stuck with a pretty small playsheet. -
If you're looking to the past, which I don't think they should be, Agudosi is currently a free agent and already knows the playbook.

They were all money issues, Kyle blew his wad early and had nothing left to offer them above minimum pay-grade. -

Here's a list of vets who lost their spots in the off-season. Gray Bailey Rose Grant Jeffcoat Clements Funny thing is with the exception of Rose none lost their jobs directly to better players. -

Who was he rotating in for the first game, Wilson, Kramdi or a HB? With Cole also competing for the same reps. it doesn't make a lot of sense. -

What position is Karamoko playing and why? Still don't understand the rules around Globals or what prompts them to pull someone else out and put him on the feld. Not saying he isn't a good athlete, but it isn't clear exactly what he's good at. -
Strevie.

Not likely to happen, coming off an injury it's Brady's health holding him back and getting more reps. is not going to make that better. 50/50 whether he even plays this week, they should probably rest him and make sure he's ready to go for Stamps and Lions in the next few weeks, losing those 2 games would put them squarely behind the 8 ball. -
It often looks like VA gets sacked when he could have escaped, he waits around until he's surrounded or steps up into a collapsing pocket, whereas Zach sprints away at the first sign of trouble.

For the 3rd straight year Jones is rolling with mostly rookies in his secondary, never seems to learn to leave things alone and let them develop. -

Are you just speculating or do you know something about his current lifestyle?

I think it would pay future dividends to stick with the current crop of receivers in house, use the first half of the season to identify the best and get him up to speed by the time Lawler returns. Heard he did somewhere, not convinced he'd ever been in the same league as a returner like Worthy, the really good ones don't grow on trees.
