Ouch, too many words hurts my brain.

Weicek is just bitter that Tait and Lawless picked up plum jobs in the big leagues and he will never be given that opportunity.
-
Not to torture you but think about this a bit, Zylstra played his entire college career at the other end of the Red River Valley and he wasn't on the Bombers radar scope.
-
I thought he sounded more like a whiny old ***** kibitzing but the difference is slight.

Odds and Sods - Montreal Als at Blue Bombers

Disagree that it was a smart play more likely a rookie who didn't know the rules. If the ball goes out of bounds it's BC's ball, if he knocks it back onto the field, it's anybodies ball. He got lucky. -
Such a stupid play, absolutely no reason he couldn't have taken Nichols out body to body, he didn't even try to tackle.
-
41-40, (42-43), 33-25, 43-40 What's going on?

If you watch the players left hand on Nichols right shoulder, he definitely gave him a bit of a push, which he didn't have to do. -
When YouTube first came out I was disturbed by the base level of stupidity exhibited in the comments section and thought to myself, "this must be the voice of the young". I was wrong, today that's become the norm and one of those early posters has even gone on to become POTUS.

Here's another thing, those people's opinions don't matter.

Not only was that RTP, it was a deliberate attempt to injure and I believe the Als player will be fined for that hit.
-
He's obviously had too much.
-
Plus, once the other CFL teams realize he's a dangerous threat, they'll treat him as they do Rainey and Banks and block the exits.
-
He also returned a kick-off for a TD in the pre-season although that one may have been cancelled by a penalty. That's two long ones in 6 games and I bet he gets a few more this season if he stays healthy.

What happened to IC Khari? This is usually his domain.

Seriously, they should be able to come up with some kind of scan or use density or fluid testing to detect these damaged cells unobtrusively for diagnosis. I think within 10 years this will be a done deal, the problem so far is that this is an area of medical research that has been abused and neglected as the movie about concussions showed.

What doesn't make sense to me is using these challenges so early in the game, Dickenson seems to want to get them out of the way instead of using them strategically. Last W.E. didn't he use a challenge on the first play of the game? -
I don't hate the fly-sweep at all and they have worked fairly well this year but you have to think the Als. are going to be looking for that play tonight and with Cox and Hebert they should be able to cut Dressler down before he turns up field. Max. usage 2-3 times.
-
That'll work until they stuff Harris for 2 yard gains multiple times, then what? They'll also be looking for the fly-sweep this game, so that play will be good for a few losses. This would be an excellent opportunity to dress Flanders and throw something completely new at them.

Unless his first name is Mervin, Walker isn't a Natl..

Looking Ahead: Montreal Vs Winnipeg

I can buy this, O'Shea is defensive to an extraordinary degree, some would even say he's combative....but not me. -
Sure, but hopefully the science will advance to the point that they can identify the damage without an autopsy. Maybe MOS could volunteer.

This discussion gets rehashed every couple of months and I believe it's been pointed out that the rate of CTE is prevalent in rugby players as well. It's not just the direct hits to the head but also the abrupt stopping action that causes the brain to slosh around like jello in a bowl that cause the damage. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/11857548/Rugby-uncovered-Game-still-has-head-in-sand-over-the-risks-of-brain-damage.html
