Flanders also earned his role by sitting patiently for a year waiting for his opportunity to perform. -

If Nevis is playing over Poop and Knox is back in front of Santos-Knox I don't know what to think about their roster management skills. -

Wow, congratulations you figured it out! -
Wiecek secretly wishes he was an embedded reporter as well, he's basically spitting venom at Ed Tait.

Denmark never left on his own terms, like bad parents they left Clarence on the side of the road and felt bad about it later. Been there, done that.

This is true, they have been using those formations recently but if they have to keep 2 Natls. on the D-line at all times it's going to make for a difficult situation with only 2 Natl's available. I think they will have to use Briggs quite a bit to offset. Edit: Forgot about Ekakitie. -
Not so much, it seems to reflect their attitude towards other former players such as McDuffie, Muamba and Johnny Sears as well. They tend to find replacements and reward them by sticking with them. If Thorpe quit on the team, he's not much different than Bass quitting Ottawa.

Nevis didn't dress last game, so I don't think they can pull that off. They need at least one to spell the DE's and one for the DT's, Corney can't backup both. -

Nevis, Poop or both? May have to scratch one to bring on Shayon Green -
It would be nice if Thorpe came back for T.C. next year and gave it another go but it seems the Bombers are not inclined to give ex-players a second shot.

Issac or Fig?

They had to make some room to bring back Roc, that's all I got.

Should be some extra SMS savings to spend now.

We got Poop.

Might have to go shopping for a temp. fix, Corney can't back up both ends. Foley would have been a decent option and might still be available at the right price, or trade Nevis for Eddie Steele and shift the ratio to DT.

A well prepared secondary could have a field day picking off Reilly's throws, that's for sure. This is nothing new, he's always been a gambler and chucks the ball well down field often on a hope and a prayer when he probably shouldn't . Fortunately for him, his receivers catch a lot of them.

It's not quite as black and white as it seems. the following article explains his disgruntlement in more detail. http://ottawacitizen.com/sports/local-sports/redblacks-release-disgruntled-linebacker-khalil-bass Here is an excerpt. “(Bass) wasn’t going to be starting on defence (in Montreal),” Redblacks GM Marcel Desjardins. “Serderius (Bryant) was going to start at WILL (linebacker), Khalil was going to back up (Taylor Reed) at MIKE (linebacker). That didn’t sit well with him.” Bass had been doing a slow burn inside for nearly two months. After missing a 24-19 victory against the Alouettes on July 19 because of an injury, he returned for a July 24 loss against the Toronto Argonauts, but his reps had been reduced. “My reps had been decreasing every week, all the way back to the Toronto game, my first game back from being injured,” Bass said Friday. “I felt, when the game was on the line, I wasn’t in. It showed me they didn’t believe in me when I felt I needed to be on the field. All I wanted to do was help the team win and I wasn’t on the field to do that. I didn’t feel like they had a belief in me and my abilities. I just didn’t fit into their plans.” -

Shouldn't the job of admissions be to tell people that are not in medical emergency to go somewhere else and not admit them? Seems too simple....Vote for me!

Well Popp is gone, so one of the Wetenhall's must be responsible for this predilection. -
