Exactly, they have Briggs and a few other clones to cover LB. They can keep Lankford in to cover kickoffs and backup the receivers, occasionally putting him in for Thorpe to stretch the field. When Lankford is running posts the DB's are in high back pedal mode and it opens up a lot of space underneath.

The other play that was annoying was when they brought LeFevour in for short yardage and left him out for the second play only to flub it on some goofy QB sneak and got caught in the backfield.
