Any reports on Inztandztszt?

I don't care who gets the official #2 QB spot, I just hope O'Shea plays them to their strengths and ignores the ranking. If Nichols struggles in the red zone again this year, Dan is the man, he's the "poor man's" version of Collaros and he can make things happen when it looks like nothing exists. If they can earn some comfortable leads against Eastern opponents this year it would be nice to see Davis get sizeable chunks of playing time in those situations. O'Shea is now in his 4th year as H.C. so I hope he demonstrates that he's learned how to manage his QB's more effectively.

In theory at least, he never touched the ball in two pre-season games, if he showed potential the best he can hope for now is a spot on the PR.

Changes to the Stadium and Concessions
Fatty Liver replied to TrueBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
This has been discussed elsewhere and it comes down to aspect ratio, what you see is what you get for replays, that video screen is half the depth of the one in Calgary. The proportions make the sides useless for showing replays and only good for ads and they surely knew that when they purchased it. -

Nope, Johnny Cochrane would have fixed that. -

Arrest Warrant Issued for Bill Cosby - Sexual Assault

Let me guess the make up of the jury....couldn't nail O.J. and they won't punish Cosby either. -
Yep, I think Lankford earns the job as returner and backup receiver. Whether they go with Stafford or Washington as the starting receiver is hard to say. Thorpe and maybe Williams to the PR for now, even though Williams did nothing in two games. Edit: Scratch that, forgot about Fogg.

yep.

Thorpe, Roberson and Smalley, all left the field with injuries, no idea if serious or not.

Bombers cut Apodaca, Frederick and 9 more

You're lucky a giant space rock didn't fall out of the sky and smash you, it may have been a fitting end to a bad day. -
Just wondering how Russ Hobson got his video last week, angle and quality where very good so it must have been off a feed? I think I'll keep his link up during the game in case video gets posted during the game.

Around the League - Training Camp Discussion
Fatty Liver replied to sweep the leg's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Seems odd that only the Bombers and the Lions have made any cuts so far. I guess one perspective is that teams that are holding off don't want to influence the cuts of other teams by making certain players (ie. vets) available before the deadline. Looking at you Hufnagel. -
It's all we got man, it's all we got.

I suspect you may have mistaken passive-aggressive "rubbing it in" for kindness. -

I thought LaPo actually won the last game before he was canned? It was inevitable either way... -

Burke didn't really want to be a H.C. in the first place, so I'm not sure you can put the blame squarely on his shoulders. -

LOL he spends most of the interview talking about himself. -
Reilly must have an injury concern, I can't see any other reason he wouldn't be playing. Good test for the Bombers to show how their pass D has improved and get after Franklin.

Listen around 20:00, Bauming speaks to McManus about bringing in Apodaca. http://www.tsn.ca/radio/winnipeg-1290/cfl-60-may-29-2017-1.764721 -

I would assume that McManus puts a fair bit of time and effort into grading and getting to know the QB prospects as he's the team expert and they bring in so few. Bell cut before camp and Apodaca lasted two weeks, the end results do not reflect positively on his judgement. -

....and that can be fully determined in his first appearance with less than a full Q of playing time??? Danny Mac must be an idiot. -
Hate crimes against Muslims in Canada up 60%, StatsCan reports "The number of police-reported hate crimes against Muslims jumped by 60 per cent in 2015 compared to the previous year, according to Statistics Canada. New data released Tuesday show there were 159 anti-Muslim incidents reported to police that year, up from 99 the year before. National Council of Canadian Muslims vice-chairman Khalid Elgazzar called 2015 a "difficult year" for Muslim Canadians, as two terrorist attacks in France inflamed anti-Muslim sentiment and former prime minister Stephen Harper made a woman's right to wear a veil at citizenship ceremonies a "central issue" of the election campaign. "The Canadian Muslim community bore the brunt of sinister political rhetoric surrounding the federal election which painted Muslims as terrorists or terrorist sympathizers as well as being anti-women," he said during a news conference on Parliament Hill. He stopped short of blaming the Conservative campaign for the rise in hate crimes, but said the campaign rhetoric was "a factor." Elgazzar said many victims of hate crimes do not report to police because they are fearful of further victimization or don't think police will do anything. He called on governments at all levels to boost funding for police investigations and data collection to better understand the scope of the problem." http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/hate-crimes-muslims-statscan-1.4158042
