Around the League - Training Camp Discussion
Fatty Liver replied to sweep the leg's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Not a brilliant statement to make to start off his CFL career, he could quickly be tagged with the label of a locker room cancer. -
Problem is we don't really know how good Knox is in the position, he may be good against the run but poor in pass coverage.

So...the Riders add 3 thus they should delete 3, correct? Don't see it, they're using their suspended list as a stash. -

Yes, quite obviously Jovon was the "missing piece". The Riders will be lighting it up shortly, count on it, I have it from good sources. -

Wow, impressive. -
I agree 100%, if they respect some of these "gentleman's agreements" they should implement them as rules. Perhaps it's the P.A. that prevents them from doing so, as they're not in the best interest of the players.

He's been moved to their PR, so I would guess they probably won't touch him.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Bill Cosby - Sexual Assault
Fatty Liver replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in General Discussion
I wonder if Cosby can be tried in Civil Court as O.J. was, where a judge decides the outcome. -
Never said that. My point is that if they had a sliver of an inkling a few months ago that there was a possibly of starting a Natl. at MLB this season, then it stands to reason that they probably should have considered bringing in more than one candidate in that category. After all, Sam Hurl is not quite as unique as Andrew Harris and should not win his job by default.

Wowzers. Willy's downfall in the the last 12 months is almost staggering and something that will probably haunt him for the rest of his days. He came into TC last season with a hefty contract as the anointed starter of a team on the upswing, and one year later to the day he finds himself standing in the unemployment line. Just to think, all he really needed to do to change this story-line was find a way to work with the tools provided around him and win enough football games to make the playoffs. -

Jones had a golden opportunity to escape further ridicule, but no he craves more. -
I'm confused, do players going directly onto the 6-game get counted at this time?

Stunning, even in the midst of last nights disaster he showed more potential then Bridge or Williams imo. -
Happy John Rush made the team!

Seems they could have put Conteh on the 6 game and opened another spot but I guess eventually he was going to end up on the PR. Not happy they cut Butcher.

I didn't think much of Stanzi the other night, he looked to be one of these tall slew-footed-pocket-passer types, decent arm but not mobile enough to cut it in today's CFL. Huff probably sees something I don't. -

I read somewhere that they will be using those "strung cameras" that give the overhead shot and track the play for all televised games this year so that's a step in the right direction. -

BC has 3 big play explosion/returner players currently on their roster, Rainey, Josh Harris and Tyler Davis plus a work horse in Johnson to carry the mail. These guys are going to rip defences wide-open frequently, combine that with the best receiving core in the league and BC has an offence to be much feared. -

It'll be interesting to read how the Jones apologists spin this one. -

Holy bloodbath Batman, that was a clear exhibition of talent verses ineptitude. Wally vs. Jones. -

Man, I like some of those low camera angles they're showing behind the QB, really gives you a sense of what it's like on the field. TSN could learn something from these guys. -

Bizarre, I wonder if Trestman has a clue what he's stepping into, after all he wasn't exactly following the CFL in his time down south.
