It would have been a good opportunity to give Knox a trial at MLB to see if he can handle Messam, switching Bass to WIL. Perhaps we'll see some of that formation tomorrow.

McDuffie is too injured to play receiver but you want him to return kicks? That doesn't sound like a good idea.

It'd be nice to see Mayo as well, he's done more than Smith so far this season imo.

Cole has been excellent, glad they waited for him to recuperate. Green has looked better with every game, so keeping him over Hubbard looks to have been a good decision. Corney has kind of leveled off imo, effort is there but results are inconsistant, still shows well for a first year player though. If he sticks with the CFL long-term I can see him becoming a Canadian version of John Chick.

No easy spots on the bingo card from this point on, inconsistent play has been the hallmark of this season and on any given day, any team can falter or rise up and steal a victory. Stamps excluded.

Good article, I found the following clip interesting. While it’s fair to say that Randle and Adams didn’t quite live up to all the hype in their first game on the field together, they both showed flashes of why they’re each regarded as elite cornerbacks in the league. Bombers’ fans have debated plentifully which of the two would be moved to field corner upon their return to health, and seeing as they’re each too good to be wasted out wide, the Bombers’ solution was quite intriguing. Rather than having one always align in the short-side and one always align to the wide-side, Randle played 100% of his snaps at left cornerback, and Adams played 100% of his snaps at right cornerback. This strategy is not seen in today’s Canadian Football League. The standard procedure for teams is to put their best cornerback in the boundary and their worst cover-man at wide-side corner, where he’ll be targeted far less as the throws are tougher to make. The Bombers, however, have two stud cornerbacks, so why not have them each play both positions pending on what side of the field the ball is scrimmaged from? Coincidentally, both Randle and Adams each played 28 snaps at field-corner and 28 snaps at boundary-corner. Meanwhile, nothing changed for the halfbacks – Fogg (boundary) and Johnson (field) each played all 56 snaps at their regular positions. Working with a different halfback depending on if they were playing short-side corner or wide-side corner would seem to have been a challenge for Randle and Adams, but there weren’t any visible communication errors. Although it’s unknown if the Bombers will continue to deploy their stud cornerbacks in this fashion going forward, it was a much better first game for this now-healthy unit than some might think

If football doesn't work out for Richards, he can always find work as a mannequin.

Despite losing, Lefevour's performance in his first two games has been impressive for a guy no team wanted a few short months ago. He does so many things Willy is incapable of that I don't see Drew getting his shot anytime soon.

Having Wild back would make a huge difference, Burnett is good but he was guilty of both poor tackling and over-running numerous plays against the Argos.

If McDuffie can't go, who helps out Fogg with return duties? Please, don't say Dressler.

I like the plan but just not sure they can shut down the Stamps so thoroughly. At minimum Paredes and Medlock would be racking up the points from the 50.

It took the D most of the game to shut down the Argos and Lefevour from marching the ball so I expect to see more of the same from the Stamps. If the O can keep up in point production they have a shot but if they're at all slow off the mark it could be over by the end of the 3rd Q.

O'Shea said on the Coach's Show he's out for a couple more weeks. He also said Adams accumulated 500 yards in 5 games.

The Stamps have a good O-line but that won't prevent the Bombers finding a way to get to Mitchell if he sits in the pocket, he is going to have to scramble a lot to avoid the rush and his accuracy suffers when he does that. Sure hope Wild is back in the lineup. As for the O the RB is going to be critical for outlet passes, I hope they dress both Flanders and Harris.

Loffler is a revelation, when was the last time a Canadian player came out of the blue and performed like he has in his first season? I honestly can't recall another.
