  1. Take a run at him with a shopping cart and if he develops happy feet, you'll know for sure.
  2. If I was the Als I would retain Jacques Chapdelaine for another year unless they can convince Trestman to come back. JC has done a decent job considering the mess he landed in the middle of. If Popp never coaches again it will be too soon.
  3. Can't really understand why a Rich Stubler D is playing so badly but it looks like a house cleaning is coming from the top on down..
  4. There's that possibility but the Argos pass defence looks toothless.
  5. Looks like the Esks. pulled another fast one on the league by having Reilly miked up but pulling him after the 1st Q. In reality the mike should have transferred to Franklin but it hasn't. Will be interesting to see if TSN gets in their ear and forces them to switch over for the second half.
  6. A very entertaining game going on between Als and Ti-Cats right now despite it's utter meaninglessness. Vernon Adams looks like he's found his groove and is making things happen. Have to hand it to the Ti-Cats fans, they're right into this game unlike the RB's fans last night.
  7. Yep, that's twice in the last two games I thought he was a goner.
  8. Must be, the RB's don't rely much on their RB's. I think Wpg. has moved the ball reasonably well this year between the 20's, they lack somewhat in the big plays and in their red-zone production. If they could sort that out for next week that would be a nice surprise.
  9. With their receiving core Ottawa probably doesn't get much practice scoring TD's in tight to the end-zone.
  10. Correct me if I'm wrong but if the RB's score a lot of their TD's from beyond the 30 yd. line that does not count as red-zone production, true?
  11. Pleased to see Nichols has re-found his touch on the long balls, some of those passes he threw yesterday were absolute beauties.
  12. I think it probably goes well beyond the small monetary benefit with a prideful guy like Harris and either O'Shea or Lapo should have been very cognizant of this going into the 4th Q and accommodated him. In Harris's case it's not about the dollars.
  13. I'm confident they can beat the Lions in BC Place in perfect conditions, Harris should be unstoppable. They sure better put in a good performance today so that they end the season on an upswing.
  14. I agree, the only way the Bombers ever seem to discover what a new QB can bring is if they suffer a catastrophic injury to their starter. Depends on their patience level to see if any of the current crop stick around to see next year. I don't think there is any long-term plan in place, they will take it year by year and ride Nichols as far as they can go, while trying to hang on to the best backup prospects they can find in case of emergency.
  15. He is a good compliment to Westerman and creates good pressure from the opposite side, I wouldn't throw him away because of a tantrum. Still prefer the rotation they were using earlier in the year, it seemed to keep them fresh and applied more pressure on the QB.
  16. Could be that he didn't realize when first informed of the move that he would still be paid in full for the game and was venting publicly, not wise but somewhat understandable. Still falls under the category of massive blunder.
  17. I kinda hope so, I'd rather see what some of the backup players can bring for next year, rather than watching the first team play the entire game against a depleted RB lineup. It's probably too much to ask for them to jump out early and have a min. 14 point cushion going into the 4th Q so they can relax a bit and plug in Davis.
  18. If neither Davis or Bennett work out as the near-future QB, I'd like to see LeFevour invited to TC as a backup to Nichols. He's not #1 QB material but he would be a great option to work in some red-zone packages for and he runs like a bull.
  19. You're taking Tracker WBBFanWest too literally, it's a well rehearsed chant that has been used by Wpg. fans at football games since at least the 70's.
  20. Looks like they'll be using this last game to take a second look at a couple of players for next year. Has Padric Scott dressed this year? Seems to me he was injured throughout T.C. and didn't play in an exhibition games.
  21. That's exactly what this D wants the QB to think and one of the reasons they get so many picks. They're just waiting for Ol' Henry to go back to the well once too often, so that they can kick him in the nuts, steal his bucket and run like hell! Henry don't learn too well, hopefully the Bombers meet up with him again in the playoffs.
  22. Retired? I thought he was down in the NFL trying to find a gig. Sign him up, he's a dirty Canuck!
  23. Great opportunity for Nichols to redeem himself this week, we'll see what he's got. I have faith that he can self-correct given a week to think about what he did wrong last game, as he's a smart competitive QB. Pressure is on him for the remainder of this season to audition for the #1 job next year. I suspect there will be some interesting QB's available this off-season in F.A. and I'm betting Durant will be one of them.
  24. If he wasn't chanting for Shayon Green, it wasn't me.
  25. Is this football or badminton?
