  1. Just think of all the radio shut-ins out there in Bomberland that were unable to watch this game. If they're feeling up to it now, it's only fair that they experience another dose of pain and discomfort.
  2. Usually see Hardrick doing the same, but didn't notice him this game.
  3. Harris comes better than advertised, totally impressed with his heart and work ethic.
  4. "Henry, over this way, there's something you've just got to see!"
  5. I don't think this is true in the CFL, I know Wally, Austin, Jones and Milanovich will do it, Popp did it often and the most recent example is Campbell pulling Harris for Burris. I think O'Shea is the exception in this case.
  6. Well to be honest they have done it before. The D gave them a chance to get back in the game in the 3rd Q and the O did not respond.
  7. I lost track, whether it was 2 or 3 unsuccessful 3rd down gambles yesterday but this is a play that they have had great success with this season and yesterday they did everything in the book to screw it up. Poor play-calling combined with poor execution was the M.O. of the day.
  8. A golden opportunity to determine their own fate lays in tatters at their feet. They'll now have to take what they get and make the best of it.
  9. Moses Madu is no hack, he's had extensive injury problems but when healthy he's a good RB.

  11. Typical Stoudermire returns, run sideways, jump around a bit and get tackled.
  12. One place I notice Wild's absence is in the backfield chasing the QB, where he often converges with Bass. Burnett is good but I rarely notice him getting pressure on the QB.
  13. Knox, Knox, Knox, always with the Knox, he must be the "most special" special teamer to ever chase down a punt. Hurl is an adequate backup along with his 4 Cdn. compadres, LB is covered. I'd rather see Flanders or Green dress rather than Knox. Did I mention Green? Yes....I suppose I always mention Green.
  14. Curious, with or without clothes?
  15. No lock for Neufeld, maybe a twist-tie.
  16. If you watch Denmark for long enough, you realize he tries to avoid gang tackling situations as much as possible. Going up for a high throw over the middle just isn't his style. He either goes down on first contact or he angles for the sidelines to avoid a serious smack-down. Last game he had one guy to beat for a sure TD and instead of heading towards the middle of the field and fighting through the tackle, he angles for the sidelines and gets ushered out of bounds. Call it self-preservation or whatever but this has allowed him to stay healthy throughout his career and contribute game after game as a reliable target.
  17. There's no denying that.
  18. Macho wasn't playing all that bad when he went down with injury and he was a solid contributor to ST. In the few games he played he blocked a punt and recovered an on-side kickoff.
  19. Rider math on a grand scale.
  20. Anyone have an idea how the Riders can break the CFL record for going through the most players in one season and not violate the salary cap? Sure a lot of them were only paid for a game or two but when you burn through 120 plus signings in a year, little by little it eats up the salary cap. Add this to the $26,000 salary cap deduction for earlier roster violations and the financial damage done by numerous retirement after cashing signing bonus scenarios they went through, there can't be much room left. The auditors better take their fine tooth-ed comb when they go through the greasy green bastards books this off-season.
  21. Which Natl. would you insert on the D?
  22. Problem I see is that Couture is relatively small playing beside a relatively small Center. They won't be running many QB sneaks in that direction and that is a dead giveaway as to where the ball is going.
  23. We asses are offended and have been right about a number of personnel decisions!
