  1. Interesting they brought Sheppard off the PR ahead of Mayo. J. Adams is in, McDuffy is out. No KR or PR indicated, without Flanders any ideas who they're going to use?
  2. I Don't think they showed the Bass infraction on TV but I remember it being called. Week 3 Fines TORONTO — The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced Tuesday that four players have been fined following Week 3 action. Winnipeg Blue Bombers linebacker Khalil Bass was fined for an unnecessary hit to a vulnerable player (C.J. Gable) in the game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Toronto Argonaut Shawn Lemon was fined for a low hit to BC Lions quarterback Travis Lulay in Thursday’s game. Ottawa REDBLACK Damaso Munoz was fined for spearing Bo Levi Mitchell in Friday night’s game versus the Calgary Stampeders. Calgary Stampeder Alex Singleton was fined for a hit to the head of Ottawa REDBLACKS quarterback Trevor Harris. As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed. 3. I think so, people were hoping for Bass to move to MLB but the result is a lot less free-lancing in a Richie's D. Question is who is the better WIL, Wild or Bass?
  4. According to Richie Hall Johnson is on the 6 game so the secondary adventure is going to continue for awhile. Adams also did not practice today.
  5. C'mon buddy, why so divisive? Sounds like you need a drink or 12...
  6. I dunno for sure but I think 17to85 is referring to Jace Davis the RECEIVER.
  7. Who knows but they gave him a look and decided Adams, Mayo, Sheppard and Davis were better fits. Could have been attitude, lack of effort, drops or anything. Dressler and Smith were essential to LaPo's game plan and for marketing so they were untouchables.
  8. True only as long as you acknowledge the ladder is made with Canadian softwood.
  9. Pot roast?
  10. Nevis also spent time inside, he threw Hardrick out of the way on one play like a sack of potatoes. There really are some amazing D-lines this year, should be fun to watch. Fact Check: Nevis and Laurant play DT with Tracy and Chick on the wings.
  11. They handled Nevis and a re-invigorated Chick pretty well last week so they should be able to deal with the Esks. rush as long as they keep getting the ball away quickly. Two sacks given against Hammy is pretty good compared to past history.
  12. Zerg=mosquitoes.
  13. Best accept it brother, running a ball control offence is going to be the hallmark of the LaPo-Willy partnership,
  14. Sure would be nice if both Adams and Johnson returned this week for the Esks, reducing the rookies to one. If I had to chose one of the 4 options for the HB spot I would go with Posey at this point.
  15. Send him to the CFL Time website on You Tube. Sask.-Esk. and Cgy.-Ott. would be two good games from this past weekend. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC358NgkZW9FdzGWlLctt0iQ As for marketing who cares, marketing is mostly extraneous bullshit.
  16. Morley Scott @Morley_Scott The QB experiment is over. #Esks release Thomas Demarco. They have also brought back Rec Andrew Johnson. Team back practice today #CFL
  17. I view that play as very well executed.
  18. You got it Park Pontiac! The Bombers hung tough and out gritted the Ti-Cats for the victory and in the end despite all of the analysis of what could have been and what might have happened, that's what counts.
  19. Just re-watched the game, say what you will about Austin's Ti-Cats but the one thing they do not do is lie down and take it. They played poorly against the Bombers and made countless mistakes but even with their second string QB and 6 T.O.'s they were still scratching and clawing to the very end.
  20. If the Bombers can carry anything with them from the Hammy game I hope it is fight. If there is anything I expected to see from a team coached by Mike O'Shea it is fight, but sadly that has been lacking the first two years plus two games of this year. It's late coming but never to late to begin, so hopefully this is the first step in creating a team identity which reflects the character of their coach.
  21. Let's hope for the continuation of the trend, I believe they were very close to winning a few of their early games in 2015 under Glenn but came up short repeatedly. I seem to recall that there were a couple of early OT losses that broke their whiny green hearts as well.
  22. If you go to the CJOB "Audio on Demand" site and locate the starting time for the game, you should be able to play the audio at the same time as the video. You can only select the starting hour on the hour of playback so you might have to wait a bit until you start the video. They may not be perfectly synced but hey, it kind of works. http://www.cjob.com/audio-on-demand/
  23. According to Bob Irving Hawkins was benched in the second half for Jones. The guy was only on the roster for 3 days prior to the game so I think he deserves a bit of slack.
