Good looking game so far, don't think the Als will be able to keep up with the RB's quick strike capability.

One thing I think we can all agree upon, no donations to the losers to the West. I would rather contract genital herpes than see Chris Jones benefit from the Bombers recruiting expertise.

With the NFL picking at the bones of CDN talent, I think it's going to be a necessary strategy for all teams to follow. The delayed return of NFL tryouts is discouraging especially for O-linemen, who seem to be able to ride the PR merry-go-round year after year after year.

Not sure if Posey is really injured or not but he doesn't seem to have much of a future beyond PR, same goes for Roberts at this point even though he has looked decent. A decision will have to be made in the LB group between Burnett and Knox at some point as well. Can't keep everybody, shuffle, shuffle.

I think Walters and O'Shea should have seen and accepted this conclusion (as many did) before the regular season started and saved some needless bungling about. These boys seem to need to drink the entire pale of ink before they can decide what colour it is.

They've already beaten Reilly once, almost twice. I think the Esks. are a team that will regain some of their form in the second half of the season and become a much tougher opponent going down the stretch,

I suspect this as well, some times a team with a capable QB will take momentum and run away with it. The Bombers have been pretty fortunate lately in that opponents have been so accommodating with turnovers and no QB has been able to mount a serious challenge.

No way they release Neufeld as he is still a fairly valuable commodity but he might slip away in the off-season for a draft pick.

Can't see the Bombers BOD ever putting up with that kind of non-sense and surprised the Riders BOD are so pliable.

Neufeld has basically fallen to 4th choice for RT behind Hardrick, Bond, and Foketi, unless Chungh or Goosen go down I don't see him getting back on the field.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers kicked off the 2015 CFL regular season tonight by beating the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Mosaic Stadium for the first time since 2004, snapping an 11 game losing streak in Regina. Bombers quarterback Drew Willy was spectacular, Paris Cotton ran roughshod over a banged up Riders defence, Saskatchewan lost starting quarterback Darian Durant for the season with a ruptured Achilles tendon, and the Bombers emerged with a 30-26 triumph on a hot and sticky night in the Saskatchewan capital. “It is different. Back in the days of black-outs (circa. early-mid 70's) it was common for many Bomber games to be un-televised both home and away. Living outside the city it was fortunate if I could attend 3-4 home games per year. Thus I spent a lot of time listening to Bob on CJOB and wish to thank him for every minute of it, he is the best.

**** the history. I expect the Bombers to crush the Riders in both the LDC and the BB this year. It will mark the start of a new era of winning football in Wpg. and I see no reason they should lose either game to those corrupted bottom-feeders.

I'm through with reading the Rider forum, it used to be mildly amusing and a good place to pickup on CFL news as there are so many active posters. In the last while there is virtually no football discussion and it has turned into abusive attacks against anyone that doesn't fully support Chris Jones and his unethical management style, which the Mods. accept blindly. The place is teaming with unsavoury ass clowns.
