  1. Adams should see a fair number of balls as well. He would have had a huge game against CGY if he could have come up with that 4th Q catch in the end-zone, but then that's the rub with him, he doesn't come down with the ball at absolutely critical moments.
  2. Corney is the future but I think they'll stick with the rotation scheme throughout the season. Hopefully Cole can show that he was worth the wait.
  3. I'm pretty sure that O'Shea said that Adams was not yet ready to play.
  4. Hubbard didn't have any sacks last game but he certainly contributed some "hurries", nonetheless Green is on the roster and he's been moved back to the PR. I'm thinking Green probably won't dress and Cole and Corney will be rotating a lot.
  5. Hurl is back, is that what you're referring to?
  6. Looking forward to seeing what Sheppard can contribute in place of Mayo. Would have been nice to be able to dress Foketi just in case.
  7. Thanks, I couldn't figure out how to post the image.
  8. Looks like they have sent Hubbard and Mayo back to the PR. http://d3ham790trbkqy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2016/07/Depth-at-Edmonton-July-28-2016.pdf
  9. I recall TD's and interceptions were often around a 1:1 ratio. When you think of it an interception is one of the most exciting plays in football, no one likes to see them but they definitely add to the entertainment value.
  10. I think they will give Willy until the end of the season to jump start his career and if he is unable to do so they will deal with him in the off-season. If you go back and watch the game after Willy was pulled they briefly show Buck meeting with the QB's and receivers on the sidelines. Fair to say from his body language that Willy was not contributing to the discussion at that point.
  11. Yah, no kidding you can pretty much scratch Barker off my wish list.
  12. Timely for the Bombers, Argos are up in 2 weeks.
  13. Another angle to this is that this is probably Nichols best and possibly his last opportunity to prove he is a starting caliber QB, so he should have all the motivation in the world on his side. He's been playing QB for 20 years and the time to perform is upon him, otherwise he best dedicate a good portion of each day thinking about his life after football. If Nichols can play to the level of Sean Salisbury and magically eek out wins using brain over brawn he may hang in there for a few more years as a serviceable backup QB but otherwise he's on the downhill slide of his football life.
  14. I would suggest there are a few "ingestibles" that make this statement false, starting with spinach.
  15. If they continue to suck eggs past Labour Day both of those possibilities might become reality. I hope we get a real chance to see what Davis and Bennett can do before the end of the season, if the playoffs become a lost hope 2 games each would be a nice evaluation heading into next year.
  16. Someone interviewed Reinbold about a week ago regarding O'Shea's current situation and he commiserated with him. He's pretty happy where he's at and it doesn't sound like he has the ambition or wants the added stress of becoming a HC again.
  17. Matthew Scianitti @TSNScianitti Milanovich says early diagnosis is Ray could have a sprained MCL. According to Milanovich, if so, Ray would be out 4-6 weeks #Argos #CFL
  18. Right, left brain lock.
  19. Randle is Leggett's backup at WIL, that way the problem is switched to the D-backfield where there are more options available.
  20. Anyone hear what the crowd count was in T.O.?
  21. Too bad the Bombers can't play their next six straight games against the Als, they are looking bad.
  22. Glenn is back before anyone jumps in to correct me.
  23. Glenn out as well, two more starting QB's knocked out. The CFL strategy of protecting QB's is not working, they need to find a solution as it brings down the entire league when backups play half the games.
  24. Holy crap. Ray takes a shot to the knee a full 2 seconds after throwing a pass and the ref. who's job it is to make the call stands there looking dumbstruck. No flag.
