  1. Lochard could be decent back up to harris, 6', 215lbs NI rb outta laval (2014 2nd round draft pick) Edit
  2. Solid CDN., he had 7 sacks last season.
  3. That hyphenated LB from BC would be a better pickup, he's a tiger.
  4. This is just Wally covering his ass in the attempt to make it look like he's involved in the process.
  5. You're right, if they sign Smith he automatically gets Denmark's job whether he earns it or not.
  6. I expect if the Bombers grab Medlock, Austin will pick up Lirim.
  7. Bombers have no intention of punting this year, FG's and TD's galore.
  8. Strange, Burris is a lot more durable than Ray but I expected RB's to go after Harris.
  9. Agreed, let's review the tape of Arcenaux running over Washington one more time.
  10. Speaking of Ray Yauch... One of the most well-known figures in Canadian Football League history, Ray Jauch, has signed on as the offensive coordinator of the Marburg Mercenaries in Germany’s top league, the GFL. Jauch was a two-time coach of the year in the Canadian Football League with the Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He started his coaching career with Winnipeg in the early 1960s after his playing career was cut short by a torn Achilles tendon playing running back for the team. He went on to take his teams to three Grey Cup appearances, winning one in 1975 with the Eskimos. He also served as head coach of the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1994 and 1995. His other stops have included the Chicago Bruisers of the Arena Football League where he coached together with Sean Payton (current head coach of the New Orleans Saints), the Toronto Argonauts, Saint Ambrose University, Washington Federals (USFL) and Iowa University (his alma mater). Coach Jauch will arrive in Germany in mid-March to begin preparing for the German season which gets underway in April.
  11. There are a lot of "no-names" and "old-names" on that list that are not going to receive any offers, thus it's going to be a bleak day for a few. Hopefully Walters can find numerous pieces at market price with a positive upside between the upper and lower price groups.
  12. Farhan Lalji ✔ @FarhanLaljiTSN .@TravisLulay & the #BCLions have agreed to terms on a 2 year contract. Done deal 10:38 AM - 8 Feb 2016
  13. From the reception Macho is receiving from Bomber fans he's all set to take up as a favourite whipping boy after serving as a Rider whipping boy for the past few seasons.
  14. I believe suffered from serious stuttering and worked to overcome it. So when he struggles a bit its that infliction that he is overcoming. If you know anyone who suffers it's pretty awful. Buck has worked hard to overcome it. Well there you have it. Good for Buck.
  15. It's almost as if Buck can not breath and talk at the same time.
  16. I think that's just Buck's style, but I tell ya, he sure is hard to listen to. Found this interview from 2006 and his speaking style is much the same. http://www.bclions.com/2006/09/26/buck-pierce-post-practice-sept-26/
  17. CFL News ‏@CFL_News Expect very few free agents 2 B rewarded & most of their counterparts to be scrambling to find roster/financial fits. - @HolderGord #CFL If this turns out to be true, it will make next week very interesting. Any extra money added to the pot is migrating to the top of the food chain and that leaves many hopeful free agents having no choice but to sign similar or lower contracts than they left behind in stable employment. In a worst case scenario many could find themselves on the outskirts of a football career. For well established players like Washington this is a big gamble as they have to uproot their lives and try to win favour with a new coaching staff and fit into roles that they may be unfamiliar with for little or no extra money. Once the dust settles I think the CFLPA is going to have to seriously rethink their strategy in order to benefit more of their members and promote continuity within the league. I'd be surprised if next season doesn't see a drastic reduction in the number of players headed to the open market to discover their true valuation.
  18. Billy isn't a F.A., unfortunately he's already hiding out on the Bomber roster.
  19. Smith might get a shot in T.O. now that they're done with Owens.
  20. I thought it was quite strange for the Riders to trade Messam away last year after he had established his value. They basically have no RB's left on their roster from previous years. We'll find out just how many import RB's can be brought in for a dime.
  21. One or the other but not both, too many holes to fill in other positions.
  22. Press conference is now up on the Bomber site. Technology is amazing. http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/02/05/press-conference-kyle-walters-on-free-agency/
