We've only seen the beginning of "ugly" if the trends keep trending for the Bomber organization and they can't afford a repeat performance on any level. Turnarounds have to come from some direction and I don't see how "working harder" is going to push this bunch over the hump. Mike O'Shea is a man without answers to a whole lot of questions so I don't expect him to be the one that lifts this team to the next level. I think for the most part the D is on track to play competitive ball if they can field a few more high-performers and sort out the glut of talent they have accumulated at LB. My real hope is that they get lucky with the new OC and Willy in terms of health and production and they put together an offence that is both consistent and effective for the first time since Kevin Glenn was in the wheelhouse and Milt was tearing up the side-lines.

Apparently BMO is going to operate with 17 yd. endzones, 3 yds shorter than regulation. Didn't BC Place have shorter end zones at some point during its history - something like 15 yards? Maybe when it first opened? I seem to recall that, but I could be completely wrong. I think the standard used to be 25 yd. endzones but when BC Place came online they shortened them league wide to 20 yds. to match. Now what? -

The last drive of the game really proved Reilly's and the Esks. mettle, Ottawa had to get the ball back and couldn't. Burris pissed away the entire 3rd Q throwing check downs to Powell the RB instead of finding a way to get the ball to any of their big time receivers. -
I vote for Edmonton Essholes.

Anonymous individuals, appointed to a panel, overrule American law. That's more or less the bottom line, if a corporation thinks that a government policy or action interferes with their access to a market or diminishes their profits they can have the government regulations overturned or even sue for compensation. The people and their representative politicians have no say over management of resources from within their own country and cede control over them to multi-national corporations. Environmental and labour laws are directly in the cross-hairs of these actions.

Impressed with the RB's defence and really like Pruneau's hustle, he looks to be a great player. -

Reilly taking some serious shots in this game running the ball, still won't slide. -

Looks like the Esks. D is stepping it up and shutting it down. -

Glad to see the weather cooperating, shouldn't be a factor in the game. -

Well, Wpg. finally gets to witness a Muamba in a Grey Cup game, but that's all I'm going to say about it. -
anyone like that? our money, used to pay non canadian corps, using imported labour, to build Canadian Government projects. just brilliant. Let's compete with Asian companies using Asian labour, not just for stuff they manufacture over there, but for construction jobs HERE. Boy, that is a smart deal! Yep, anyone that didn't see this coming wasn't paying attention to the details of past free trade agreements.

I believe the movie "Parkland' represents the known facts fairly accurately in regards to the autopsy and handling of the body. -
The new logo reminds me of something that might have been shown on an old balck and white TV. Such exciting drama would have been broadcast 12 hours a day non-stop but that didn't stop us from gathering around the TV to stare at it.

CFL and Blue Bombers Being Sued
Fatty Liver replied to voodoochylde's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
By suing for only $50,000 you have a very good chance of settling out of court with the league. But there was no signed contract. Not even a handshake deal. Can an email hold up in court for "a contractual guartantee"? E-mail promises are worth about as much as the paper they're written on. -
I'm guessing stats. wise Westerman put up some of the best one season numbers ever for a Natl. D-lineman. Sinopoli's numbers wouldn't make the top 50 among Natl. receivers. That's another guess.

I think I saw a reference to the Bombers.....at least I imagined I did. Even the league is ashamed of our product.

I thought they might throw a bone to Wpg. for hosting the show but not to be. Only caught the last half of the telecast but Ottawa cleaned up.

One thing I heard is that Turkey wasn't all that happy about the Russia attacking that region or the people that live along that border in the first place. As mentioned previously it's not black and white and the borders in that region mean little as the people on both sides of it are basically the same.

Apparently Tillman still resides in Regina or at least his family does.

So everyone is more or less happy with this decision? Hard not to like this... it kind of appeases everyone... Women,Children and Families- no lone males of fighting age: Addresses security Concerns Screened and health concerns addressed BEFORE they come over. Taking in 10,000+ before years end and 15+K more before two more months end... Pragmatic, measured, flexible, and done in a timely manner- colour me impressed (which is the same colour as Aqua-velvet). That's Aqua Velva lad.

That about covers it.
