  1. You did your best. It's the same with music, no matter how much good music you expose your kids to they will still prefer to listen to garbage that you absolutely hate.
  2. You really want to leave this job to O'Shea? His past player and coach recruitment record demonstrates that he has virtually no connections or ability to do this job well. He is the antithesis of a schmoozer.
  3. I believe it is quite common. How many times have we seen free-agents signed to a contract 2 secs. after midnight on the day free-agency opens.
  4. Good on Miller, at least he is taking action. I'd guess recruiting and hiring coaches is another one of those skill sets O'Shea lacks.
  5. Not sure who this guy is exactly but the fact that he is associated with Rebel Media demonstrates that they have lost both their minds and their credibility......if they ever had any to begin with that is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZscWceyY9Fg
  6. MOS will have to see film on Davis first. There is a completely sane reason. If Toronto beats BC and Edmonton beats Montreal next weekend, it will come down to week 20, the final week. They will play to win at that point...although I cannot see them winning. You have spoken heresy and will be pilloried here. Fantasy is so much more fun than reality. The fantasy is that we are still not in it, technically.. We are factually still alive. Odds are more remote then me landing a date with kate upton but fact remains we still have a chance. This does mean we will not be auditioning until end of this week depending on how the games play out. If O'Shea promotes this idea even once in the next week I will lose my frickin' mind.
  7. This is probably one of the highlights of Harper's reforms but unfortunately for him it encouraged the most experienced members of his caucus to clean out their desks prior to the election. The Anders pension just burns...even the Reformers couldn't stand that guy.

  9. I agree, that a loss is a loss in the standings. But if the team is playing hard, in the game for 4 quarters, and has a chance to win at the end, I enjoy the game. Falling down 20 points and then bringing the score close in garbage time is not a game I like to watch. Yup. I watched enough reruns in summer. It gets boring and irritating after awhile. It's frustrating as the pattern of these losses is so obvious and repetitive. All through the 3rd Q each time the Bombers took possession I yelled "do it now!" only to see them go two and out, two and out, two and out. The chance to win was there for a long time while the they held the lead but this O can't seem to generate any urgency until they're behind and there's 36 secs. left on the clock!
  10. Loved Cal to pieces but signing Dunigan to that contract almost bankrupted the football club, so not the best example of smart team management.
  11. That's what Chamblin wanted too. That worked out well.
  12. TC officially starts next game, hope to see some players off the PR that have not played get a chance to show their stuff. Also let Davis play at least one Q.
  13. The excitement around here is palpable especially considering it's game day. Is it time to declare the patient officially dead?
  14. Holy crap, just tuned into the BC-Ham. game. Has Hurricane Patricia turned the world on it's head? Looking forward to the Bombers blowing out the RB's tomorrow if upsets are trending.
  15. Whatever will become of the "boy's in short pants" that ran the PMO?
  16. To me, this sums up the final years of the Harper Government. Say what you like about his early years, but toward the end...this was his legacy, and it doesn't seem surprising. And that's the thanks these former MPs get from Harper? That's bad. Might be that a few of these ex-MP's might actually throw off the muzzle and speak their minds on the election results and the direction the party is headed. Harper is a control freak beyond compare and he probably doesn't want dissenting viewpoints voiced less the party divides back into it's original fragments of PC's and Reformers. Why he would even give a **** at this point is anyone's guess as he has basically left the party bereft of any legitimate successors.
  17. I thought Anderson and Westerman had a joint sack last week that they awarded to Anderson.
  18. I would be surprised if the next leader was not from Ont., distancing themselves from their reformist roots would be the quickest route to recovery for the Cons. They need to find a way to win more and stronger majorities. Like it or not, the seats are in Ontario. And also distance themselves from candidates who need to be muzzled. I always liked Peter McKay. Now with Harper out of the picture perhaps he'll come back. Jason Kenny is my MP & I just can't see him as leader. I think he'll run but too much baggage from the Reform & Harper eras. McKay is damaged goods and a weasel to boot. Prentice would have been a viable option if he hadn't become impatient and dabbled in provincial politics but if he keeps a low profile and runs for leader in 4 years time, he might have a chance.

  21. I heard it's based on the moderators browsing history. Download the free version of Adblock Plus and you won't see any ads or banners on any sites, it also cuts out the ads from You Tube videos.
  22. Butttt.....ohhhh.....welllll.......really?
  23. If you say so.
  24. Couple of questions I'd like to ask the new stud. 1. Can you bring all of your receivers with you? 2. Are you going to do anything like whatever the last guy did to get cut?
  25. Most of those emissions are generated from coal fired electricity plants and there is no shortage of natural gas in the areas that they're coming from, just an absence of fore-sight. I believe the last two coal fired electricity plants in MB. were shut down in the early 90's after they did a study of the toxins they were spewing.
