  1. Watch some of Jones post game pressers, can't help but love the guys honesty, he's the opposite of O'Shea.
  2. Could be Doman influencing football ops, he's invested in Rourke and wants to get the return started asap, a young guy with big money rarely shows patience or respects process. He knew he wasn't winning this game with Dolegala anyway and Rick Campbell isn't the guy to argue with him on any level.
  3. Sure, his days of covering receivers downfield are in the past, as they should be.
  4. Younger seems to be content to let BA play more traditional Safety lately which has worked out better for all, he's no longer blitzing the QB or coming up to fill gaps every second play, they are using other personnel to fill these roles.
  5. Sure hope they fire his ass before he reaches 200 wins!
  6. Bet Adams keep praying the Jumbotron falls on Rourke's head.
  7. Jumping Jehoshaphat the CFL now has their own real life Montgomery Burns!
  8. Have people already forgotten the old man that bought the Als then dropped dead within a few months? Left the team to his idiot son-in-law Gary Stern who convinced him to buy the team in the first place and who was consequently restricted by the shareholders from involvement with the team. I think within 6 months the Als were back under CFL control. https://montrealgazette.com/sports/football/cfl/montreal-alouettes/cfl-takes-over-montreal-alouettes-ownership
  9. I could see change in the off-season if Ambrosie wants to leave but why now? Only think of note is the completion of the Elks sale.
  10. Wait just a doggone minute, from that photo it looks like Lauther is wearing his left shoe on his right foot!! The Riders truly are the Devil's favourite play toy.
  11. "Can you believe it??? This is not happening!!"
  12. Tony Jones appears to have slipped into the lineup ahead of them both, don't hold your breath.
  13. V.A. likely to be traded for a draft pick, BC will be glad to shed some salary and their trading partners will be well aware they hold the advantage. Honestly I can only see a couple of teams willing to grant him starter status.
  14. Wpg. Transit is pretty handy and it delivers you right to the stadium. What more could a guy want from life?
  15. Hopefully the Lions new owner markets the hell out of Rourke and the Lions attendance soars, if he could increase attendance by 5-10k per game over the next 3 years he'd likely make his investment back. The bigger trick will be reducing teammates salaries to accommodate Rourke and keep them under the SMS cap.
  16. If not now, in the future, if things start to get out of hand they'll reel it back in. All it takes is for MLSE to squawk about being at a disadvantage.
  17. My guess is V.A. ends up in Sask. or Hamilton next year, they may trade him for a draft pick to avoid taking on more salary obligations. Lions look dumb for not retaining Prukop as their 3rd down man.
  18. I would guess if Haba comes on, Woods or Hubert come off.
  19. Got that vibe with him on the sidelines, he was totally out of it and wasn't paying any attention to the game.
  20. Nor in the eyes of the courts. Dyce is the leader of young men who he lectures to turn the other cheek when physically fouled or provoked, maybe he's also the kind of leader that preaches, do what I say, not what I do.
  21. Liked Alston's size but have nothing else to judge him by as I can't recall ever seeing him play. Oh well.
  22. Woe fella, do you think Walters stumbled upon a pot of money out walking the streets of Winnipeg?
  23. Probably more Maccochia and their scouting dept. than Maas, who's failed to find much success in any other system he's been involved with.
  24. Any update on the status of Trevor Harris? Once he's back behind center they become a much harder team to defeat, they only need to win half their remaining games to secure a playoff spot.
