  1. Yup. Looks like Cronk will be the long snapper Rempel is still here. We shall see. Nothing to see, surprised Cronk is still here. What added value does he bring other than backup L.S.?
  2. I don't know about that...I can't move like that...can you move like that?
  3. Ever notice that the nations that exaggerate that behaviour don't play much hockey?
  4. ...only one of them will truly be at ease when driving thru the US? I didn't expect anything of him other than to be this year's Jordan Brescacin. Sounds like he's jumped way over that bar. Really looking forward to next Friday. Couldn't get a working feed for the Argo game and I want to see our 2015 NI's in action. No worries, the 47 seconds of TSN highlights from the Argo's game present a comprehensive analysis of the Bombers roster to date.
  5. Interesting that Willy has requested Marcel direct the offence from field level this year instead of the box. I would think that this is a positive step and that Willy will contribute more to the play calling this year instead of just following marching orders from above. (religious connotations intended) http://www.bluebombers.com/video/index/id/111079
  6. Dave Ritchie, for the entertainment value alone. Also liked Cal Murphy for telling it like it was, no holds barred.
  7. I fear that Marcel sees Brohm as a Willy clone that can fill in and run the same style offence if Willy goes down. My preference would be to have a QB with a complete different skill set so that he can be used when necessary to kick start the offence when it sputters. If opposing teams can shut down Willy there's not much hope that Brohm can do any better running the same plays. I don't think O'Shea will change his M.O. from last season, so I expect that he will continue to trot out Willy until Willy no can go. Even if they encounter a skid I think he will continue to by-pass opportunities to salvage victories along the way by ignoring the talent of his bullpen. I hope I'm wrong.
  8. I'm now wondering if Pontbriand survives this T.C., as I've not heard his name mentioned even once. Making room for the new draft picks and moving on from players that have had a few years to develop but have not progressed seems to be a workable plan.
  9. That's a shame, would have liked to see other teams keep crappy players around. That's why I am hoping Cauchy hangs on as starting safety in Edmonton. It will be fun to watch him bounce off of Tuinei as he lopes into the end zone. To Cauchy's credit he is very agile, he's able to avoid colliding with opposition players quite well.
  10. After extensive review of the 47 seconds of film I have had access to for this entire pre-season, I conclude that my opinion on the subject matter is meaningless.
  11. To quote the Who. I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it ... (You can't have it!)
  12. Tuinei has CFL experience and has excelled at times, this is a huge advantage imo. No learning curve for him. Then it would seem to me that he ought to stand out in the exhibition games, yes? Yes, he made a good play on his TD. Thus he stood out.
  13. Hard to say what Marve will do, could well be a negotiating tactic pushed by his agent. Anyone know who his agent is and if he has CFL experience? Not Marve's dad I hope. A critical factor often overlooked in evaluating QB's is how smart they are. They can have all the physical tools to be great but if their brain is lacking their careers tend to be short.
  14. Tuinei has CFL experience and has excelled at times, this is a huge advantage imo. No learning curve for him.
  15. I don't think anyone is going to get much out of the stream for RB performance. It'll all be about how they grade out on film with following their blocks, pass protection, who followed their assignments to a tee. One or two carries a guy isn't going to teach them much at all, especially behind a revolving door OL. Plus the field surface was poor, little depth above the asphalt so players who tried to make quick cuts ended up on their ass.
  16. Game highlights are up on TSN, all 47 seconds of them. Good job TSN, may you burn in HELL!!!! http://www.tsn.ca/vi...uts-27-1.304464
  17. Oops wrong thread.
  18. and Edmonton's drive to reproduce the 2013 Bomber offence continues. Sorensen and Pencer manning their stellar OL, Simpson carrying the rock, handed to him by Justin Goltz. Kito Poblah! Paging Kito Poblah! Ed Hervey on line 3! You missed Cauchy man! Cauchy!!!
  19. I hope he asks Marcel what it's like to be in his last year with the Bombers.
  20. What do you know about Millanovich leaving T.O.?
  21. I think the most important battles tonight will be between the Unamba type players - guys who get on the roster by being athletic and versatile. Wright, Adams, Taylor, Allen and Burnett (and probably 5 others). Can you excel at your natural position AND another position AND special teams? With limited spots on the 44 for imports, the guys who are most athletic and versatile will have a leg up. I at least hope that Unamba is given some preference over the other "Unamba type players" as he is the inspirational leader of the Unamba Type Players Club.
  22. Actually I would not be surprised to see Yantz as one of the first cuts. There is no benefit to keeping a Canadian quarterback around and at this point I think he is pretty clearly behind all the other qbs, so in that case why bother to keep him? They don't make decisions based on feel good stories. I believe the route to the PR always involves being cut first...but I could be mistaken.
  23. I haven't found a solid answer on this There isn't one, but I also can't recall TSN making any similar content publicly available since adding a subscriber log-in filter to their site. The answer is most likely not the one you're hoping for. Pretty sure those without TSN Go are screwed, unlikely that the Argos or the Bombers will provide a link to it off their sites, although they shoud. Unless somebody wonderful like NJBomberFan records the feed and puts it up on YouTube later this game will slip into history unwatched by billions the world over. :( :( :(
  24. Unless the game is streamed on one of the TSN's main channels I don't think it is going to be easy to find. I couldn't locate any other stream of the Hamilton game other than the one on Ti-Cat TV.
  25. Guess Who fan ? You got it.
