Kids, pay attention, this is a valid demonstration of the effects of inertia, momentum and crack..

Good, gives something to watch for in the next few games instead of worrying about the score.

Heard this discussion awhile ago on the CJOB pre-game show. They were talking about how Grigsby was having a lot of success early-mid season as an outlet receiver until other teams caught onto it and after that he was basically shut down. I think the stats. back this up, ever since Labour day Grigsby has not caught a lot of balls.
-
I think Montreal is a more likely destination, if there is any destination for Grigsby. Whittaker is on the 6 game IR and the're down to Sutton..
-
Obviously this guy has progressed faster than Anderson.
-
Tell that to Stephen Harper.

Mommy, please tell me again why I can't have a cookie before supper???

Happy to see Suber doing well in T.O., worked out well for both parties in that situation.

Odds and Sods - Winnipeg Blue Turkeys vs Edmonton Eskimoes

I would like to think Wpg. fans are too knowledgeable to ever boo Willy. -
Wouldn't be surprised to see the Bombers taking away players Twitter freedom next year to better control "the message".

A team desperate for a back like Hamilton might take a flier on him. Or a team desperate for someone who can catch the ball like Ottawa may use him as a receiver. A team desperate for a back like Hamilton might take a flier on him. Or a team desperate for someone who can catch the ball like Ottawa may use him as a receiver. Haha! Let's hope it's Ottawa! It won't be anybody. I can almost guarantee it, Ottawa has 2 pretty good backs, that williams guy is pretty good and i don't see any other teams picking him up.. who? maybe BC but i doubt it, there oline is as bad as ours. Als are a possibility with Brandon Whittaker on the 6 game.

Well well well, sounds like Korey Banks #2 has been outed. Don't be surprised if no other CFL teams pick him up. How is he going to explain quitting after sitting one game to those teams?

You might want to change your name to Rapunzel.

Etch has probably blown his last golden opportunity in the CFL. It makes you wonder why some people have no instinct for survival. O'Shea can no longer honestly defend those defencive schemes.
-
This certainly concerned me from the start with O'Shea as his realm of influence seemed very small. He lured Kuale, Romby and JFG from his past but missed out on a player like Swayze Waters who was a F.A. last year and right under his nose. We have the best kicker in the CFL. I'll give Walters huge credit for that signing. Not quite, Waters is the best kicker in the league but that's not the point. I was speaking to O'Shea's lack of influence over players and coaches.

I think both Etch and Marcel are going to be sacrificed whether O'Shea and Walters agree they are the problem or not and here is why, Marketing 101. The Bombers need to think about marketing "HOPE" for next season and the only way they can accomplish this is to sign some big name players or to find a new set of co-ordinators with some cache and a whole lot of promise to lure back season ticket buyers. Sure as **** they won't be able to drum up any sense of hope in their 3 remaining games.

Garcia for O.C. Cavillo continues to talk about his future coaching role with the Als. so unlikely Garcia will be able to progress to O.C. in Mtl. even if they cut Dinwiddie loose.

Mental reps.? What does that mean, paying attention?
-
Thanks for that report. Willy must be pretty banged up if he's not taking the first team reps. on the last day of practice. Might explain his accuracy issues on the long balls. Does Portis even dress for the games? Seems kind of dumb to be giving the most important reps to #4.

Realistic Changes for Next Year
Fatty Liver replied to NotoriousBIG's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I hope with Newman's return the Bombers continue to develop Sherman and don't waste his abilities by relegating him to permanent backup status and special teams player like Volny. Sherman has come a long way this season and IMO he will only continue to improve his play in the next couple of years. I'd like to see both him and Newman anchoring the OLB jobs along with Wild for the next couple of years revolving around a not-yet-found monster-man at MLB. -
People complain about O'Shea's post game interviews…i wouldn't want to be within arm's length of Austin when a delicate question has to be asked. By the way, has anybody seen Sinkfield since yesterday? Interesting to hear Austin say what O'Shea has been saying, that not all penalties are penalties, and that the coaches have to do a better job of coaching the players. All coach's say the same things, seems to be the party line. Including reference to having to watch the game film to understand what happened and than never hearing back regarding their conclusions. If you watch Chamblin's interviews it's amazing how similar his answers are to O'Shea's.

Two entertaining post game videos on the Scratching Post, naked men in the Collaros video and Austin doing his very best not to spit venom on reporters for asking questions. http://scratchingpost.thespec.com/
