just bite the bullet and wear white, they've worn white road jerseys right up until they got these latest ass ugly things. Hate to say this but whoever is spewing this garbage of an excuse from the Bombers is a moron. Wear white... Like everybody else everywhere. White with gold pants looks good.

Braley turning into a slumlord for Argos
Fatty Liver replied to Fatty Liver's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I always liked Lysko as a commish. Always did what he could under difficult circumstances. I think it will come to a crisis point over the upcoming off-season. Whether it will be resolved or not remains to be seen. -
Chris Matthews deleted from Seattle PR
Fatty Liver replied to M.O.A.B.'s topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I think Bryant made it past the cut off and is paid to the end of the year whether he plays or not. -
I thought I read somewhere that he wasn't going to be taking another contract in TO....I'll try to find the linkIf Milo exits Toronto I suspect its either head coach in Montreal or OC in Wpg. Let the Als have Marcel B. - O'Shea and Milanovich would be kegs of dyno mite...... that said, still need significant personnel upgrades. Milanovich is pretty unlikely to take a coordinator gig at this point in time. Montreal does seem like a good bet. Yeah no kidding, he'd get a head gig no trouble if he left Toronto. Winning as a head coach will do that for a guy. If Milanovich left the Argos. I wonder which desperate fool would be stupid enough to take on that franchise. Marcel, Burke, Higgins....Kelly!

Alex Hall and Linden Gaydosh released by Panthers
Fatty Liver replied to Jpan85's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
You mean pull a "Lindros"? Has that ever happened in the CFL? Imo that would not be a smart football decision on behalf of Gill if he started his CFL career that way. I honestly think he has NFL ambitions and why not. -
Gotta agree with that. Whether it's putting Bolton in as the extra RB or McGuffie in as a receiver, It's time these guys got a chance otherwise what's the point in keeping them around. They have been here a while now. Let's see what they got. Anyone go to Practice? How do Bolton and McGuffie look out there? Like they belong or ?? Probably tough to tell with them on the practice squad but still... Effort there? Getting better every day? Romby has played in about half the games this year with nothing to show. I've seen enough.

Alex Hall and Linden Gaydosh released by Panthers
Fatty Liver replied to Jpan85's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'd love it if we traded for his rights. They already have a crap load of Canadian DT's anyway, if they land Gaydosh I'm sure they'll virtually give Gill's rights away Can't understand your logic, he was Hamilton's first round draft choice so they're not giving him away. -
If we lose Moore and Neufeld still not good to go... I hope they start Feoli-Gudino instead of Bryant to at least give us some ratio flexibility. That will enable us to add Cotton as the 2nd Imp RB or perhaps Bolton. I agree completely. I think the roster spot could be used a little more efficiently than adding Cotton to the roster, but there's no reason for Bryant to play over JFG. He didn't. Romby did not dress last game and JFG did, although I can't recall him having any balls thrown his way.

I disagree whole heatedly with changing out the D.C. other than the two games with Sask. the D. has been the Bombers strength and even in those two games they've kept the score close enough to win and shut down Durant rather effectively. As I've said before Sask. has a monster running game and it will require some positional tweaks and personnel upgrades to be able to deal with it more effectively. Etch's next exam is slated for this Sunday, so we will see how smart he really is. If Etch continually refuses to make the changes necessary to deal with the bigger Western teams ability to run than he does deserve to lose his job.

The Remaining Schedule: One Perspective
Fatty Liver replied to TrueBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Bombers have to focus on beating EE twice and BC once at least but that just got a whole lot harder with Lulay being announced as the starter for their next game. As for beating Calgary chances look slim unless they demonstrate in the Banjo Bowl that they've figured out how to contain the running game. -
Max Hall arrested for shoplifting and cocaine possession
Fatty Liver replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Terrible news. When Hall was cut O'Shea said he was devastated and it doesn't look like he's recovered his focus yet. Hope he hangs in there, many don't. -
Argos Release Johnson, Sinkfield and Dwight Anderson
Fatty Liver replied to Mr Dee's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Problem is, who is that someone ? There's a reason why the league allowed Braley to have the team in the first place. Find them! there's so much money in Toronto and Southern Ontario the league has to do a sell job to someone and convince them that owning the team is for the greater good. Hell work hard on MLSE and get them under that umbrella if that's what it takes. I refuse to believe that there is no one in that area willing to own the team. I highly doubt that the League hasn't been trying since Cynamon and Sokolowski owned the team. Commissioner Cohon has stated many times that they're still working/talking with MLSE, which doesn't seem to have done much, although Braley should take some of the blame there, MLSE reportedly offered $8 million in December and Braley said no thanks (he wanted $20 million originally). Braley is a successful businessman, he can't be that stoopid. -
D-line needs more rotation, if they can work Gibson in that would be great.

Ticats trade Steve Myddleton to Esks
Fatty Liver replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I would think giving up 3-4 sacks per game is about the CFL team average now. Rarely is a team able to protect their QB for an entire game, just doesn't happen anymore. -
Ticats trade Steve Myddleton to Esks
Fatty Liver replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
1) does the coaches sees Myddleton an upgrade over Greaves and Neufeld? 2) we only played 3 import becuase of injury 3) adding Myddleton, will kept the sacks away ? 4) not the Bombers intention but injuries slowed the chemistry of their OL, when did we field the same OL in consecutive weeks? Myddleton could be a help with this team but will you trade away 2 draft picks for him? Myddleton could chose to retire after the season then you lose more. I've got to mail away for one of those doctorates. A couple of bottle tops should get me that and a snazzy pair of x-ray glasses. The ladies will never know!!! They're actually called "x-ray gogs" and I have a pair. You have to get really wasted to see through women's clothing though. -
Labor Day Classic Game Now On Youtube
Fatty Liver replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Great, now we can revive the penalty arguments! -
Start Brohm or Marve ? Personally I think this is a lazy move by Ottawa (O'Brien and Carder could use some reps, you know to actually develop). One of my only issues with the CFL for years has been how some players only stick around due to their experience within the league. Rookie QB's don't need that kind of learning experience. Ottawa has to get some victories on the chart or the fan-base will turn off.

For what it's worth here is O'Shea's statement. If his record was 2-8 he might come off sounding similar to Mike Kelly. The Riders finished with 160 yards along the ground against the Bombers, giving them a two-game rushing total of 346. "I’m sure that people aren’t going to agree with me, but I’m not concerned about it," said Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea about the team’s run defence. "No, I’m not." Asked to explain, he added: "Because we’re here and we’re in the game and I understand what’s going on more than what people see on film. That’s it. I’m not worried about it."

Esks have a tough defence but not very impressed with their offence. Reminded me of the Bombers at times, struggling to get it going. Nichols did not look as good as I thought he would, guess he will remain an EE backup for awhile longer. Really looking forward to the Bombers next two contests with Edmonton as it will be a great indication of how far they have progressed. Not much atmosphere or crowd participation in that game, can't compare to the BB/RR match-ups for fan passion.

Next game they need to give each fan a free can of beer.
-
Cornish has HUGE holes to run through, unbelievable. Glad the Bombers don't play them until late in the season.
-
Not sure what he was upset about but TSN showed O'Shea blowing a gasket at least once yesterday.

Good to see the Ti-Cats win, the East is slowly improving, no gimmee games left for the BB except in Ottawa. Tim Horton's Field looks like Winnipeg Stadium circa. 1964.
