Hate to speculate a year away, but the way the roulette ball is bouncing along I think there's a fair chance Fajardo becomes the successor to Collaros next season if he retires. He's only 32 and he's not nearly as bad as many imagine. Depends how Ford does in Edm and if a clear successor emerges from the rabble of QB's Walters has assembled for this season, but the ball could possibly come to rest in the hands of Cody Fajardo.

So are they going to use him as SY or #2 QB? I believe Wilson had the biggest gain on SY last season against the Riders in the WF 48 yds. and handled the role well after Strev went down. Can't recall Strev breaking a big run all season.

Save it for a rainy day, nothing wrong holding back on spending much of the bonus till the end of the season. Walters will have bank left over to cover whatever IR anomalies they encounter, plus the ability to re-up players he wants to keep before they hit FA next year with whatever is left.
