Also Kaion Julien-Grant one of the best Natl. receivers in the league, who spent most of last season on the 6 game.

Wasn't just that game, he played decently in a few games down the stretch, threw some nice passes too. Given a good game plan and some decent weapons, Fajardo can be reasonably effective.

I think Jake Thomas might be ready to throw in the towel, but it depends if he has any "after football plans" or if he wants to hang onto his golden goose as long as possible.

Interesting situation in Ottawa, they currently have 6 QB's listed on their roster, including Masoli and F.A. Arbuckle, if they intend to go after Brown they'll have to shed some serious weight. I think they'll want to hold onto Crumm for future development but they may end up dumping Pigrome or Tyrie Adams along with Masoli and Arbuckle.

If Slim Pickens was available in free agency, he'd be a better option than some of this lot. Nick Arbuckle, Ottawa Redblacks (A) Dru Brown, Winnipeg Blue Bombers (A) Dominique Davis, B.C. Lions (A) Jake Dolegala, Saskatchewan Roughriders (A) Dane Evans, B.C. Lions (A) Mason Fine, Saskatchewan Roughriders (A) Kai Locksley, Hamilton Tiger-Cats (A) Dakota Prukop, Winnipeg Blue Bombers (A) Matthew Shiltz, Hamilton Tiger-Cats (A) Tommy Stevens, Calgary Stampeders (A)

That wouldn't last long, within 2 games Jones would pull Ford and insert Brown.

What's the penalty for exceeding the operations cap? Might be nothing more than a slap on the wrist, could be Miller decided retaining Buck was worth the price of the penalty, and upped him just enough to convince him to stay. The team was already at the top of the cap, so there wasn't any loose change to throw Buck's way. -
Exit interviews yes, player evaluations won't be done until they get together with the entire coaching staff in the next few weeks.

I figured Milanovich would be more interested in the GM position than a HC job under O'Day, Riders blew it again! -
Not according to Walters, everything has been put on hold till Buck's future has been decided.

Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros

Makes sense that LaPo might be the first person Buck calls, if he doesn't want to be the OC. If LaPo has any sense of self-preservation left, he chooses the Bomber OC job over the Riders. -
Not once have I ever heard a player praise Walters or Miller, O'Shea built the locker room culture that is now self-sustaining, and that includes keeping it free of of doosh-bag players with the FIFO motto. He knew the type of players he wanted and Walters went out and found them and has acknowledged that in the past. Of course it's a management team effort and all 3 have done their specific jobs well, but the player culture has been built by O'Shea alone.

O'Shea explained in his final press conference, it wasn't fair, but if they included all the players names on the roster the Grey Cup would probably be twice the size it is. I can see them digitizing this information in the near future, scan a barcode and get the full picture for any specific year. -

Good to see they brought back some late cuts from TC last season that impressed in pre-season. Also excited to see Ontaria Wilson brought back, his game film looks spectacular against high caliber opponents. The Blue Bombers also signed American receivers Bryce Mitchell and Ontaria Wilson as well as American defensive linemen Nate Givhan and Jamal Woods. Mitchell made 70 receptions for 1,297 yards and 11 touchdowns over 52 games at the University of Toledo. The six-foot-three, 210-pound target was named second-team All-MAC in 2019 after leading the Rockets in receiving yards. Wilson made 108 catches for 1,521 yards and 12 touchdowns over 51 games at Florida State University. The native of Ashburn, Ga. also recorded seven carries for 57 yards and one touchdown along the ground. Givhan spent a portion of the 2023 season on Winnipeg’s practice roster, though he didn’t dress for any regular season games. The six-foot-two, 239-pound edge rusher made 97 total tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one interception over 47 collegiate games at the University of Toledo. Woods made 78 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three pass knockdowns, and one forced fumble over 49 collegiate games at the University of Illinois. The six-foot-two, 290-pound interior defender went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft. Winnipeg has also brought back four Canadian players who were selected in the 2023 CFL Draft, including running back Jonathan Rosery, defensive lineman Collin Kornelson, linebacker Max Charbonneau, and defensive back Bret MacDougall. Rosery, who also plays slotback, led the Alberta Golden Bears in receiving yardage this past season, making 32 catches for 440 yards and three touchdowns. The five-foot-eight, 199-pound native of Edmonton was taken in the seventh round. Kornelson made 17 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery playing along the interior of the defensive line for the Manitoba Bisons. The fifth-round pick missed three of the club’s games due to injury. Charbonneau won the President’s Award as the outstanding stand-up defensive player in the OUA this past year while playing for the Ottawa Gee-Gees. The eighth-round pick made 62 total tackles, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick. MacDougall made 30.5 total tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery this past season with the Windsor Lancers. The sixth-round pick helped the club win a home playoff game for the first time since 1975. -

You're giving Ford Kramdi's job based on the one game of pro football he's played in his career? -

With one year contracts now the norm, those decisions are usually made during the off-season, two players they decided to move on from are Darvin Adams and Nick Taylor. Similarly the decision to move on from Lawrence and Darby has probably already been made.
