  1. Don't know which teams would see Lawler as a must have addition at $50k more than other top receivers are making, most teams are well set in terms of receiving talent and already have a star or two they're paying high dollar.
  2. Wow Rhymes falls out of favour again, didn't BC release him prior to FA last season as well?
  3. May have had an offer from Mtl., do you think Walters just made up a number?
  4. Clearly Kramdi negotiated his contract with leverage, if Walters decided not to pay what he asked for in order to save $20k, good chance he goes back home and plays for the Als and the Bombers lose a solid Natl. asset they developed to a competitive team. Do that often enough and they end up in the Stamps position.
  5. That seems incredibly cheap for the numbers Schoen puts up, gives Walters $50k savings on one contract he can push towards Lawler, who rarely earns his salary.
  6. According to Dunk lot's of teams pursuing Mike Rose. Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Edmonton Elks and B.C. Lions pursuing veteran DL Mike Rose.
  7. Not likely to find a decent one with any CFL experience, if they were making min. they probably were not playing much. I think Vaughters is the closest they'll get to signing a big name D-lineman, at least he's well known. Being short and stocky his game is more like Micah Johnson than Willy or Jeffcoat.
  8. Where did you get this? If they were grooming Cole for Safety, wouldn't they have used him in that spot late last season instead of bringing in Nick Taylor?
  9. Sure pick up Hollins if you want to bring dissension into the locker room, he's one of the guys that voted for Adams over Rourke and lost, not smart enough to keep his big mouth shut.
  10. Grant is a FA once again, Walters has a chance to make up for fumbling his file last season. There will likely be stiff competition to pay him what he's worth, as every GM knows he is the best.
  11. Can any of the Argos afford to own homes in T.O. or do they all rent apartments?
  12. Bloody Ti-Cats, they'll sign both Ceresna and McManis and still miss the playoffs!
  13. Lawler usually makes the more spectacular catches that land him on his butt or head, but Schoen is better gaining YAC than Lawler, as is Demski. I could see Dru Brown convincing Ottawa to spend big on Schoen, he's the hardest working receiver in the league and will come back strong.
  14. Schoen might have led the league in receiving in 2023 if he didn't miss 2 games. The 10 below is the number of TD's he contributed. How soon you forget. 2023 WPG 16 111 71 1222 314 10 17.2 71
  15. Seems to be keeping fairly busy pumping out podcasts and videos. https://www.youtube.com/@ShowTimeSpeaks/videos
  16. FA hasn't even opened yet, charge them with tampering!
  17. What??? and can accept that Shoen went for the big payday in Regina. Not true, rephrase quickly!
  18. Rigmaiden said he was looking to chop his receiver budget and would even consider making trades, Lions currently have 16 receivers on their roster so lots of new prospects heading towards TC.
  19. Well now, we got married in a fever Hotter than a pepper Sprout We've been talkin' 'bout Jackson Ever since the fire went out....
  20. Schoen was paid $230k last season which isn't out of line for top end receiver talent. Lawler was a bit high at $285k, making him the second highest paid receiver in the league, chisel him back down to 250k or let him walk.
  21. Likely going with 2 Natl. receivers as starters, if Woli is around Clercius isn't getting the development time he earned last season, because Zach prefers Woli. As a courtesy cutting him now gives him a chance to sign with another team before FA begins, he should be able to play another 3-4 years if he wants to. They can pick up a left behind and forgotten Natl. receiver like Daniel Petermann in FA to backup Clercius and Demski or go with a new draft choice.
  22. Clercius runs good routes and seems to have decent hands, but he doesn't have the mental connection Woli had with Zach providing a target on broken plays, If Zach loses both Woli and Schoen he's going to be pissed. Maybe Mitchell will help fill some of that void.
  23. Probably the reason they ended up paying Kramdi $140k, he likely wanted to live closer to his family and Danny Maciocia speaks so highly of him he'd love to have him on his team.
