  1. I knew it, behind closed doors those big new churches that have cropped up everywhere over the last 25 years are up to no good! I honestly don't care what they do behind closed door, but when they try to impose their will and backward ass thinking on outer society, they're stepping one foot over the line. Groups like this used to be content to be left alone, asking only for the freedom to practice their "we do voodoo" in private, now they can't help but try to remake society to fit their own demented image!!! https://www.cbc.ca/news/investigates/fundamentalist-christian-movement-1.6793677 Trinity Bible is one of the most prominent churches in a fundamentalist Christian movement that has gained momentum in Canada, initially by challenging pandemic public health restrictions. This movement is now increasingly involved in electoral politics, advocating for conservative social and political policies based on literal interpretations of the Bible. Liberty Coalition Canada, a conservative Christian advocacy group, is trying to raise $1.3 million to recruit hundreds of Christian politicians and campaign staff to run at all levels of government. In a document marked "please keep classified" that was obtained by CBC News, the group says its ultimate goal is "the most powerful political disruption in Canadian history." Working alongside Liberty Coalition Canada are dozens of churches across the country, a number of small media outlets and at least one well-funded think-tank. While theological and political differences exist among them, many supporters of this movement share a vocal opposition to LGBTQ rights and other social justice causes.
  2. Maybe they already knew Lawson was injured before the cutdown but didn't they use 4 DT's most of last season or was Walker often the game day scratch? With Bennett being added to the rotation, they should have more ratio flexibility than they had last season.
  3. Absolutely can't understand why he's on the roster and Caleb Thomas ended up on the PR even from a ratio perspective, one penetrated and one didn't.
  4. Co-GM with Neil McEcvoy.
  5. If Houston fills in for Rose on the corner BLM may feast, Derel Walker ate his lunch.
  6. Ties in with the Dane Evans deal. From the Ti-Cats website. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Monday, the football club has acquired national defensive lineman Jonathan Kongbo from the BC Lions in exchange for BC’s fourth-round pick in the 2024 Canadian Football League Draft. Hamilton originally acquired the pick in exchange for Dane Evans on February 23.
  7. Thought Hamilton might release him, they didn't,
  8. Choose A or B. A. A state of inebriation reached when alcohol consumption is steadily and carefully maintained at extremely high levels over extended periods of time, usually not ... B. Irritating, or contemptible behavior. n. Little penis. Example Sentences. "That guy is such a shmeckel.".
  9. I'm not sure O'Shea would have kept him around with that backstory, in fact I doubt he would have even invited him to TC.
  10. Replay of Sask. game now up on YouTube.
  11. I remember when a stud named Kyle Knox couldn't displace Sam Hurl as the MLB, it had little to do with the physical tools he possessed, he just wasn't smart enough to understand the playbook.
  12. I don't think they will allow that in a regular season game, it's considered a uniform violation. Also short jerseys with exposed midriff like Wilder used to wear are not allowed.
  13. Excuse me, you want to wait until the end of Aug. to upgrade the D-line?
  14. They lost Sayles and replace him with Schmekel? I don't understand how that even makes sense from a ratio perspective, I'd be very happy with Caleb Thomas on the roster in his place. The same with Bennett, I could see him placed on the PR for future development, but he did nothing to show he's ready to help out at DE anytime soon.
  15. The weirdest thing about the play was that Lemon got past Stanley to whack Nichols.
  16. You almost expect a dynamic QB like Pigrome to show up in the CFL every few years, it's usually with a bottom-dweller like the Elks or the RedBlacks were they get thrust into starting too quickly, flame out rapidly and are bypassed by the next inexperienced QB charged with the hopeless task of turning around a losing season. Piggy is lucky he landed in the right spot and will be managed carefully.
  17. Walters pretty much said earlier in the spring they are looking at the 3rd string QB position only in this context, "a Streveler like solution for 3rd downs and special packages". Piggie will get his chance to advance, but he's not pushing Brown out of the way this year, unless Zach goes down and Brown fails to deliver.
  18. Josh Jones got the last 2 mins. of game #1 and 4 mins. in this game, that's embarrassingly bad time management on behalf of the coaching staff.
  19. Salma looks to be a better runner than McCrae and they don't really need McCrae's receiving or return abilities anymore, so.....bye-bye.
  20. "I haven't left Regina my whole life, so it's nice to get out of there and come to Manitoba for a different experience. I just love it here." WORDS OF WISDOM BY SCHMEKEL https://www.bluebombers.com/2023/06/02/the-playbook-preseason-vs-ssk/
  21. Danielle Smith is about to implement a program in Alberta scooping addicts off the streets and depositing them in facilities owned and operated by "for profit enterprise". Worked for Hitler, so why not. It will be interesting to see the cost of this program and whether it significantly improves the addicts behaviour, or if it's just a cash cow that shovels $$ towards her cohorts and changes nothing.
  22. Is this a joke? I wanna see a DNA test because Jeremy Murphy clearly has O'Shea blood. Mike O'Shea JR. was just a decoy!!!!
