  1. I could be wrong but I don't think a ST player other than a kicker or returner has ever won the award before and isn't likely to this season. It will probably comes down to Janarion who certainly deserves acknowledgement for his career work, or Sean Whyte who has been outstanding in making 50 of 53 FG's this season, with the ceremony in Vancouver Whyte will probably be chosen the Belle of the Ball just for the extra media attention it will generate. Never forget they gave this guy an award in Regina, just for showing up at the ceremony on time with his shoes on the right feet.
  2. The voters always try to balance out the awards and spread them around, the most the Bombers can hope for is Brady receiving one award and Ontaria Wilson winning MOR. Stanley has been capped at 4, and Ty Ford stands little chance of winning against Milligan and the green background noise that's pushing him for MOP.
  3. They won more games at home this season but drew less fans, just another stadium where there are more empty seats than people.
  4. Probably just tryouts, they'd really have to jump off the page to displace another player that's been on the team since the beginning of the season. If they showed well likely see them again in the spring.
  5. Not yet anyway, like Cameron Dukes the solution to limiting Alexander's effectiveness is to contain him and prevent him from extending plays with his legs, the Bombers shouldn't have much trouble doing this.
  6. Bob Dyce has peaked as a HC, if the RB's want to progress beyond mediocre, it's time to find someone else to lead them. Playing with 2nd place at stake and they can't help but take stupid penalty after stupid penalty, it's no longer the players fault, it's the environment and the lack of consequences for emotional selfish reactions.
  7. Use more heavy sets or leave MCI out there a lot more than they do, allowing Brady to slip out of the backfield as a relief valve.
  8. Good name for an unpopular brute. 😁
  9. Amazing 4 are rookies, shows a different mindset and a competitive environment at play instead of perpetuating a group of familiar faces. Seems to be the trend towards heavier D-line players multi-tasking, not many are tall and thin like Willy specializing in pass rush only.
  10. Who is Captain America?
  11. Pretty hard for Amar to point fingers when most of these questionable moves were probably instigated by him.
  12. No problem wherever the game is, line the Riders up for another kick in the nut sack. 3 in a row!!!
  13. They can also move all Sergio's gear to a chair in the middle of the dressing room to help him clearly focus on his future as the Winnipeg Blue Bomber FG kicker.
  14. Dickenson in full retreat wearing the shades and trying to look incognito.
  15. At least they now know what's unlikely to work against the Argo D, hopefully Buck observed and learned.
  16. Yep, gives them the opportunity to figure it out. If they cruise along through the season and come up short of the goal in the end for the 3rd straight time, a dead reckoning needs to be taken in the off-season.
  17. It was, but personnel wise the Argos and the Als have many superior players in the trenches, so it shouldn't come as a huge surprise as we've known that since 2022, but probably forgot about it as they meet so infrequently. It was encouraging to see Zach begin to channel Trevor Harris in the second half and get rid of the ball more quickly, cause that's the best solution when the O-line is getting manhandled by 9 maulers.
  18. I keep browsing through Temu for the concubine section but haven't found it yet.
  19. Don't think Zach's going to roll freely with 9 D-linemen with significant names rotating in his face all game long, if they win it's likely to be a low-scoring gritty affair relying heavily on Sergio to bring his salsa. They may get lucky if Kelly hands them a few timely turnovers along the way.
  20. Cole played more as a pass rush specialist last season and rarely got plugged into the defence in any other role. It's a given he's athletically gifted but he may not have the football IQ of some of his competitors.
  21. Consider the trade for Nichols probably saved O'Shea's job, so nothing else would be the same if that one hadn't happened. That could have been the first step, but it took Neufeld a long time to recover from the injuries he was suffering when he first arrived, he wasn't seen as a great pickup for the first year or two.
  22. Lawler credits Darvin with teaching him how to study the playbook until he knew it inside out, something Lawler admits he did not do seriously when he first arrived in Wpg..
  23. May God protect you from the backwash, PM me your home address and I'll protect if from looting, should that happen to occur.
  24. "Streveler the NFL QB"??? What does that have to do with anything?
