  1. Snowfall has returned for it's 5th season, well worth watching from the start if people are unfamiliar with it.
  2. With a population of 1.412 billion people I imagine that's par for the course, on average 27,765 people die every day in China. 1.412 billion people guaranteed to die some day, now there's an industry with growth potential for an entire lifetime! 😳
  3. .....and which team do you suggest boldly take this chance, when many HC's are usually one bad season away from being fired? Surely you wouldn't approve if the Bombers threw caution to the wind and took such an uncalculated risk?
  4. You're sounding a bit desperate, like Rider fans hoping to snag that last playoff spot through the cross-over despite tanking their season down the backstretch, any loophole will do. You fail to acknowledge how unpalatable the current version of the CPC has become to most Canadians, so hope is all you got.
  5. I've yet to see Calvillo interact with a player or coach on the sidelines, he spends most of his time staring at his play chart.
  6. Losing touch with the humour of the situation and reality as I suspected they would, interesting to see if it becomes as ludicrous as Yellowstone.
  7. Quite the knee brace he's wearing for a receiver, hopefully that's gone by next spring.
  8. Cheap is gone, like the Bluebird of happiness it ain't coming back.
  9. Every photo on his Instagram page is with the Bombers, no evidence he ever played for the Elks. https://www.instagram.com/bigplay_law/
  10. Hansen will be back, maybe Kongbo as well. High hopes for Cole Adamson making an impact, 6'-5", 292 lbs. DT should be able to plug some gaps.
  11. C'mon man, you ain't that dumb. The premier of your province intentionally included that "colourised" black and white photo in her message as a wink and a nod to anyone with racist inclinations that might vote for her. But you're right it isn't "closeted racism", it's blatant.
  12. What message do you think is being conveyed in the tweet below? How subtle, is closeted racism funny too?
  13. If you are wondering how they came up with it, this may explain.
  14. Just the fact that she would even discuss such an illogical idea publicly and see no problem with it is worrisome. This is from Nov 13, 2019 Danielle Smith @ABDanielleSmith Just interviewed Gerard Lucyshyn from the @FrontierCentre about redrawing Alberta's and Saskatchewan's borders to correct an historic wrong and give us access to deepwater ports at #PrinceRupert and #Churchill. What say you BC and Manitoba? #ableg #cdnpoli
  15. It sounds to me like Wade is talking dollars. O'Shea is probably the highest paid coach in the CFL now, the co-ordinators and their assistants have all been with the team for awhile and probably received a few salary bumps along the way, and nobody other than LaPo has moved onto greener pastures. No turnover in the staff, leads to fatter salaries across the board, Wade might have to consider offering Ritchie Hall a retirement package next year to free up some dollars to pay Walters.
  16. That's the key, they rarely do, they provide sound bites of negativity to dwell on and shout out, but rarely provide a contrary plan or an explanation of their reasoning. Mainly because their followers are either too lazy to bother looking deeper into an issue than the soundbite itself, or are intellectually incapable of understanding it's complexity.
  17. Calvillo was complaining a few days ago about not being considered for the HC job, now all of a sudden he is, although he likely won't get it. I'd pick Thorpe from that group. https://3downnation.com/2022/12/04/anthony-calvillo-believes-hes-ready-to-be-cfl-head-coach-but-has-not-interviewed-for-alouettes-job/
  18. I don't think these people realize 83% of Canadians made the simple cooperative decision to get at least the first vaccination, they've chosen a mole hill to die on and they continue to defend it with the mistaken belief they have the backing of the vast majority. Because of their continued belligerence, voting them off the island seems appropriate, it really comes down to FIFO.
  19. Wilder released by the Elks. “9 months ago I signed as one of the highest paid RBs in the game coming off a MVP season. This season I broke my neck and was told I need spinal surgery to play. Now (the Edmonton Elks) have no interest no more and I was told that I’m being released with the neck injury and all! Sheeesh!” https://3downnation.com/2022/12/04/running-back-james-wilder-jr-says-hes-been-released-by-elks-after-suffering-broken-neck-in-2022/
  20. I feel a spell of crocodile tears coming on. 3DownNation @3DownNation · 22m Cody Fajardo says it’s ‘unfortunate’ Riders haven’t communicated with him since end of season https://3downnation.com/2022/12/05/cody-fajardo-says-its-unfortunate-riders-havent-communicated-with-him-since-end-of-season/… (H/T @RodPedersenShow ) #Riders #BringIt #Regina #Saskatchewan #CFL
  21. Re-watching the game I'm convinced Leggs was holding back on his punts for whatever reason, he does not put his full leg into them and it looked like he was more focused on placement over distance. His punting during the regular season was great, if I had a vote that's the only job he would be doing next season.
  22. He's the only CFL kicker left trying to do all 3 jobs, that tells us most teams have moved on from the concept but also indicates he's an economical solution, if one can live with the compromise of being adequate at all 3 jobs but not the best.
