  1. Interesting that Tre Ford has recovered from his injuries and was listed as the backup QB last night but wasn't given a sniff of playing time. I guess Jones intends to roll with Cornelius for the remainder of the season and let them battle it out for the starting job in TC next year.
  2. Zach basically acknowledge this in his post-game interview, said it's a unique situation as with a lot of teams set plays are handed to the QB's and no input or dialogue is encouraged. https://www.bluebombers.com/2022/10/08/zach-collaros-game-day-2/
  3. Their attendance next year is going to crater, this seasons numbers were based on tickets previously sold, there was barely 20k attending most of their home games.
  4. I wouldn't be at all surprised if either or both are starters at their positions next season, with retirements, attrition and defections sure enough there will be changes in the secondary next year.
  5. I doubt it, some cake-sniffer is still going to offer him at least $250k in F.A. and that's too much to pay a single target when the job can be better executed by a committee of very good receivers like they've assembled in Wpg.. Have to pay Desmki more next year as well.
  6. Oh my, this should be fun. Originally Posted by cral12 @brentoliver · 1h 85,000 people are voting for our new Premier of a province of 4.5 million. 1.8% of the province. Cool.
  7. Nothing average about MBT, he's a deviation of the norm.
  8. He has a really hard time believing the Stamps are no longer ruling the league, he still believes they're a better team than the Bombers.
  9. Sure why not, who would you like to trade for him, Jefferson or Jeffcoat?
  10. ....but the population of Regina is only 228,928, so the ratio is quite similar to Wpg.
  11. That is a shocking revelation of the truth coming from O'Shea, and yet he sits on the 1 game IR 4 weeks after he was injured.
  12. He's also one of the few pickups they could have made league wide that already knows the system and can be ready to play in 3 days.
  13. Where is he posting now and under what name?
  14. The game is on Saturday, they'll probably dress him and have him share reps. but doubt he starts.
  15. I actually hope he doesn't, I want to see what these new DE's can bring before the end of the season, Jeffcoat has nothing to prove and needs to recover fully before the playoffs begin.
  16. More importantly, I think this tells us everybody they want back for the playoffs won't be ready.
  17. Hey...maybe Blink was one of those guys.
  18. Lucky day for Darby, he just found a swack of playoff money in his old jeans. Steep price to pay for the Bombers after Wilcots put in his best performance of the season against the Riders, but maybe he knew he was being showcased, and maybe he knew someone else was lined up to take his spot next week.
  19. Love Chuck, but I got to see Barry Sanders play 10 home games the year he won his Heisman, so I'll vote for him.
  20. He was 5'-6" 170 lbs, returned punts and kickoffs, took a beating every game and never missed a game in 7 seasons with the Bombers.....and this is what you remember??? How about this stuff. 21. All that will be forgotten soon enough, his list of accomplishments will not.
  22. I don't think Charles Roberts has been mentioned, but his list of accomplishments as a Bomber and 5th place on the CFL all-time rushing list should make him a shoo-in for the ROH. No Bomber running back has ever gained more yards and he did it in 7 seasons.
  23. I think both Brown and Milt were elite conditioned athletes for their day when compared to their peers, this is one of the reasons they excelled. To paraphrase Milt, "I wasn't the fastest player on the field, but by the 4th quarter nobody could keep up with me."
  24. I thought about that too! 😶
  25. I believe Richie still lives in Regina for some reason, he'd be smart to avoid working there at all costs, it's a small town and eventually Rider fans turn on everyone.
