Agreed, Moore is in LaPo's dreambook, short to medium range is his territory. -

I think Lawler will still be too expensive once the bidding war starts, Derel Walker has performed well in his absence and lately redeemed his value now that he has a QB that can get him the ball, if his price has fallen considerably he would be a nifty pickup if Schoen or Ellingson are gone. May not be the deep threat he once was, but gets open, catches the ball well and is good at picking up YAC, he'd be a good bookend to Demski. -

Unless Wade has bigger fish to fry I think he stays Bomber president for life. -
Curious to know how cheating can take place in chess, but I guess it's similar to gambling if an outside party can somehow transmit the next move to a player after running them through a computer simulator. Strip searches may be coming to chess!

If they latch onto BLM as their saviour, they're heading in the wrong direction. -

Dyce is just an interim hire, he's been around the block a few times and is probably just hoping he can hold onto the STC job next year in Ottawa. -
Also Chess. Chess world champion Magnus Carlsen released a statement confirming his accusations of cheating against rival and fellow chess grandmaster Hans Niemann on Monday. https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/26/sport/chess-cheating-accusation-by-magnus-carlsen

Sports major leagues have all grown to the popularity that they can create their own whirlwind of hype and chattering bullshit which swirls around them from sunup to sunset and is as vapid as a dust storm. I love the game of hockey but hate the world of bullshit the NHL has built around itself over the last 20 years, so much so that I rarely watch any televised games other than the playoffs. I stopped watching NFL football in the early 80's for the same reason, I'm interested in the game but none of the bullshit.

Wynton McManis will be the nominee for MODP in the East this year and will probably win the award, he's been an absolute beast, continuing on what he established in Calgary. -

Bo would be deadly in T.O. cleaning up games MBT screws up, he wouldn't have to play all that often, just whenever MBT gets squirrelly. -

Wilcots practiced with the 1st team yesterday, drawing in off the PR. Not super impressed with the D-line recruiting this season, no one has shown they can make much of a direct impact or help distract attention away from Willy and Jeffcoat. It would be great if Hansen was able to return for the playoffs, at least he adds a steady push. -

Alberta government calls on RCMP to ignore federal firearms ban within province https://calgary.ctvnews.ca/alberta-government-calls-on-rcmp-to-ignore-federal-firearms-ban-within-province-1.6084864 Think about these numbers, the AB. govt is willing to upset the apple cart for 326,709 licensed firearms owners of which 149,000 possess restricted firearms, in a province with a total population of 4.3 million. They certainly don't seem to be representing the majority of their citizens. All this bluster will do is rile up the wingnuts and endanger the life of RCMP officers appointed to collect the restricted firearms that are not turned in.

Blasphemy, it sounds like they lowered the key he sang it in.

Are you referring to TSN Go? If so, it's probably your bandwidth or other apps running that's causing the problem as I've had this same issue in the past, but watched all games this weekend and did not experience any buffering.

I know Argo running back A.J. Ouellette isn't a Natl., but he sure reminds me of a backup Natl. RB trying harder to show he could become a starter. Much like Litre now on the Elks, the only physical talent he possesses is extra grunt. -

With the decline of main stream media the politically illiterate population in Canada seems to be growing to match the US, these are people who are not at all interested in politics, never followed or understood our system of govt. and in fact hate the subject with passion. They simply react to dog whistles and bumper stickers and are enthusiastic to vote for any moron they don't currently hate to lead them over a cliff. The CPC understands this well, encourages it, and happily exploits it.

I guess Jason Kenney is no longer minding the store in the AB. legislature, but what possible good can come from letting this moron off the leash? Alberta's minister of labour and immigration has taken to social media to criticize Ottawa's "tyrannical" pandemic travel restrictions and thank "freedom convoys" for their efforts against them. In a tweet responding to news about the federal government potentially ending COVID-19 border requirements, Kaycee Madu said the measure was "never was about science but about political control and power." "Thanks to all those citizens, freedom convoys, who had the courage to mobilize against these tyrannical policies," read the remark on Madu's Twitter account on Tuesday. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/madu-covid-restrictions-freedom-convoys-1.6590139 AB always fanning the flames of disgruntlement then expecting us to embrace the latest "rock star" they send to Ottawa. This one is from Mars.
