  1. I can see O'Shea going to T.O. if he wants to take on the GM role and build his own team, Pinball probably has the latitude to slide up into VP of something or other.
  2. That was the opinion of Mo Leggett.
  3. This game is a mundane display of incompetence from both sides, they take turns screwing up and will undoubtedly continue back and forth until all life-force is sucked from the eye sockets of unfortunate spectators. Looking forward to 3 more of these adventures!
  4. I'm not a follower or a supporter of Alex Jones in anyway, but this show trial is scapegoating at it's finest, how bout they sue the manufacturer of the actual gun that was used to kill these children, or the politicians and lawmakers who made the weapons conveniently available to an unstable mind? At least that action would be more relevant to their deaths. This whole trial is nothing but a national distraction, a misdirection of hate and cultural self-loathing. The lawmakers and lobbyist who perpetrated the conditions for this massacre and have done nothing since to prevent the reoccurrence of similar events, walk away without a blemish, while a stooge like Alex Jones is pushed forward to take the fall.
  5. Guy on the left is already dead....guy on the right is attempting to rip his ears off.
  6. Germany owes Poland over $850 billion in WW2 reparations, with no plans to pay them back. You won't see the U.S. paying reparations to any country they've destroyed the infrastructure, economy and culture of either, they need all the funds they can gather to finance the destruction of their next victim.
  7. Whatever you think, I picked him twice and struck out both times.
  8. Pierre comes across as a low-level comedian who might hit Esterhazy on tour.
  9. Not that he was ever slim.
  10. Hardly recognize Danny Mac, he's looking "solid".
  11. You're belittling the reality that many players do amass chronic injuries during their careers and the longer they play the worse they get and the more they become an obstacle to overcome. Neufeld is a good example, he's been wearing some kind of bracing on his right arm almost his entire career, it delayed him starting for the Bombers for almost 2 years and has put him on the I.R. numerous times, including missing practices often on a weekly basis. He does not often let this chronic injury effect his game play, but it could eventually be the factor that ends his football career earlier than anticipated.
  12. Maybe true, but as part of the gaming agreement the CFL signed this offseason each team is required to provide an accurate assessment of players injury status prior to game time. Lest Mike forgets the new rules.
  13. Adarius Bowman, Chris Matthews 2, Romby Bryant 2.....
  14. Not exactly, you can't upset the apple cart by paying Schoen more than Ellingson or Demski. Save the extra pennies for Demski as he is uniquely irreplaceable, and let Schoen go off to the NFL if he must.
  15. The last 10 years have certainly been more openly divisive but the same undercurrents have always been present. Historically the US has never been the bright light of liberty it claims to be, considering the authors of the US Constitution allowed slavery to continue and of the first 12 U.S. presidents, eight were actual slave owners.
  16. Sounds about as respectable as the Bronfman clan.
  17. Something is up with that, the only backup DE is Hansen, you would think Jeffcoat especially would require heavy rotation to get back into game shape. I can't see them using their 3 DT set specifically more against the Als unless they're experimenting with something.
  18. I doubt he's injured, he's backup depth and wants to be paid for it, he probably said "no thanks" to the PR, hopefully he can get some game action soon.
  19. Have to worry about Brady's health long-term, can't smash and bash like a wrecking ball and not expect a few pieces to fall off. A.H. does his best to slip or deflect direct contact, were Brady takes it head on, much like Jesse Lumsden his playing style may shorten his career.
  20. That "T.O. mentality" seems to be spreading across Canada, there are even signs of it in Sask. now.
  21. Mo Leggett, Ian Wild, Taylor Loffler, Chris Randle, there are a few guys that paid their dues in blue and gold that just missed the boat.
  22. He's Darren Flutie level, I'll be happy as hell if he stays in the CFL and doesn't bugger off to the NFL in 2 years.
  23. Yep, Wally liked to rotate his RB's, Harris had to share reps. with Stefan Logan for a few years. I think one part of the agreement in coming to Wpg. was A.H. got a say in how much he played, and he wanted to play every down.
  24. Yah, I wasn't disparaging Lofton, I was just pointing out his history. If they brought him in, maybe they liked what they saw or maybe he's just a convenient gap filler on the PR who has no future.
