  1. No kidding, Marino will be looking for ways to redeem himself with his teammates. Hopefully the Riders aren't within a country mile of the Bombers in the last quarter of any game this year.
  2. No one has mentioned that this was his first throw of the game or that the spotter removed Harris on the final drive of the game based on a 15 yd. UR penalty they accessed to the Hamilton DB. Yes Harris received a direct head-shot, but exhibited no signs of impairment at all, and yet he was yanked from the game at the most critical time. This differs from the incident were Collaros was pulled early this season as he was impaired by the impact. Pretty fair trade-off IMO, if BLM is threatening to win tomorrow night's game on a last-minute drive it's good to know intentionally taking a head-shot penalty can force the spotter to remove him immediately from the game.
  3. Chances R pretty slim O'Shea will do anything like this, he felt strongly enough after last season to send a personal message to Harris, instead of trusting him to perform on cue to his own high personal standards, he forced his hand. He's too stubborn and proud to admit he misjudged the situation and kicked a gift horse in the mouth, and he's unlikely to back down at any point this season. IMO Wade should have taken over negotiations when they went south, for the betterment of all.
  4. Looks like he is out for this game, replaced by Nick Hallett.
  5. They won't know which knee to target, unless of course Cody tells them which one is injured repeatedly.
  6. If you picked Dom every week, you'd probably be in the lead.
  7. The Saskatchewan Roughriders have listed Cody Fajardo as the starting quarterback for their Week 8 matchup with the B.C. Lions, despite missing last week due to injury and COVID-19. https://3downnation.com/2022/07/28/cody-fajardo-back-as-riders-starting-quarterback-in-week-8-despite-lingering-mcl-injury/
  8. You got me, Wade Miller played for them in 2002, who are the other 2?
  9. The GM who approved that slogan, has not received his ring.
  10. I dunno, I think Jake has been getting better every year, his penetration on bull rushes is amazing. I think we need to start calling him "the angry fisherman".
  11. That's the thing about "unfinished business", it usually remains unfinished.
  12. Yah, I'd say Jefferson has been having a great season so far, stats. are for people who don't watch the games.
  13. Electric motors have not changed much in over 100 years, I'd be surprised if it takes much training to switch over from being an ICE mechanic, I'd guess it probably takes a lot less skill. Nobody is fixing batteries or rewinding electric motors, computer diagnosis and much less mechanical issues and maintenance will put a lot of mechanics out of work.
  14. Speaking of Creehan, he is currently a special teams and offensive assistant coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, still milking his contacts.
  15. Denies spitting, not a spitter, wouldn't know how to spit., mama said no spittin' in da house.
  16. From this mornings interview, it doesn't seem like Dickenson is overly concerned. https://www.stampeders.com/2022/07/25/dickenson-25-07-22/
  17. Does this mean Harrison is being moved back to the PR without a try, or will McNight go directly to the PR?
  18. Harper obviously endorsed the sabotage of Patrick Brown's leadership bid and now he wants to ensure that a moderate PC like Jean Charest has little chance of winning by fully endorsing P.P. Until Harper and Manning are gone for good or thrown in jail, Canada will be plagued with the stink of their far right reform party platform of selfishness and hatred.
  19. Shame, you failed to mention Robertson was leading the league in sacks before he was wiped out. Using Sask. math, that makes him the second best DE in the league this season next to Charleston Hughes.
  20. Harris makes any O-line he plays behind look better than they are.
  21. I think Schoen could be a top 10 CFL receiver in the vicinity of Ellingson if he chooses to stay in the CFL and build a career. If he jumps to the NFL and bounces around between PR's for the next 3-4 years he might fatten up his wallet a bit, but will not have much of a career or accumulated stats. to speak of, unless he someday returns to the CFL. If Zylstra is the model of successful transition, it's worth noting that in 4 seasons with 2 different NFL teams he's caught 30 passes for 414 yds. and played a bunch of special teams. I can also understand if players are only playing football for the money.
  22. How'd they do that with half empty stands?
  23. Most hunters I know carry around at least 50 lbs. of extra fat on their asses.
  24. That's one big MoFo, better bring Jack.
  25. Gray replaced Richmond, who started for Bryant in a late season game against the Stamps last year and did well.
