2022 CFL Season - Back 2 Back Champs News
Fatty Liver replied to JCon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The one thing I notice about all great QB's is that they seem to be smart individuals, not a dummy in the bunch. Brain power is more important to the QB position than the strength of the arm. In this regard, Fajardo seems to be a happy-go-lucky-half-wit. -

To be fair that interview was made immediately after the game, it will be interesting to see if his stance changes once he reviews the game film and hears from O'Day and indirectly from the team's board of directors. This goes beyond football and they may go over his head to remove the tarnish from their organization. -
What's to stop one from eating the entire bucket?

He eventually would get broken, same as in Hamilton. Can't question the timing of the football gods, it is as it was supposed to be. -
Feel sorry for Daniel Petermann, he's never going to see the field in BC, he's now in his 4th year playing backup.
-
Couldn't afford him if he is, the CFL needs a salary correction for top receivers, paying anyone 200k+ to catch balls is bad for business. Thank Chris Jones.

I miss Kent Austin, his sideline antics were the best! -

I would challenge that BLM when healthy has been just as mobile but in a much more economical way than Zach, he is a master at avoiding the rush by taking a few quick steps to find space before resetting, this is one of his top assets. He's a better downfield passer than Collaros, but not as good throwing the ball on the run especially when rolling left, no QB does that better than Zach, excluding Flutie. -

(insert segue) Anyone know where Anthony Coombs is? He was with the RB's last year but I can't locate him on any teams roster this season. -

The entire league has changed in the past 5 years, with ferocious defensive play the days of the planted pocket passer are over. -

Still wouldn't work, look how much Zach uses his legs to find space and time, Willy was basically immobile. -

They better be prepared for Malik Henry, that guy is blazing fast, if he isolates on a corner he's gone. Hopefully they're better prepared for the explosion plays and can get some over the top help from Thompson. Sure wish Alexander was back before they faced the Stamps. Sey-lah-vee. -
I hope they test Marino for drugs, this incident looks like an extreme episode of "roid rage", especially the celebration.

BOO isn't adding much, while Demski is out flip Bailey back inside and let him use the waggle. -
Look at Jones record, he's mostly been successful wherever he's gone and he owns 4 G.C. rings. Eventually he will turn the Elks around, but it's going to take more than 4 games to do so.

My guess is 99.9% of the people hunting for food are doing it for "fun", and economic benefit, and are not all that familiar with hunger. The gun nutz are the people who scream about needing multiple guns for protection.

Ironically during his time as PM, Abe tried un-successively to get approval to re-write Japan's pacifist constitution and allow for more normal military buildup. Which probably would have led to a diminishment of their gun laws, as they seem to go hand in hand.

This caught my eye, incredible statistic. With a population of 125 million, the country had only 10 gun-related criminal cases last year, resulting in one death and four injuries, according to police. Eight of those cases were gang-related. Tokyo had no gun incidents, injuries or deaths in the same year, although 61 guns were seized. Guns are simply not allowed, what could possibly be the downside, just for the sake of argument?

There is a good reason retirement is set at 65, the brain begins to get mushy around the outside. Yet the majority of the most powerful men in the world are all past this age and Biden is doddering along at 79, pretending he's young, virile and sharp. In the presidential job description they need to add the line, "no one over 60 need apply".

I can't see Khari being offered a H.C. job anytime soon, he may have to start over again as an O.C. first, or as you say, catch on with TSN if there is an opening. The only reason he got the head job in Mtl. is Kavis decided to punt Mike Sherman a week before the 2019 season got under way, and he was the most qualified coach on staff. Overall his coaching record has been pretty dismal, long-term he hasn't shown the ability to vastly improve any offence he's worked on, whether it was in Hamilton, BC, Sask. or Mtl.. Nice guy, but big risk for a team looking to re-float a sunken ship IMO. -

Lucky is breakable and can't block effectively, what do you want??? Bailey was, and still is a better fit for the Bomber offence. Good for Lucky, he's one of the few kick return specialists that successfully transitioned to a full-time starting job, but it had to be elsewhere. Stretching back over time there are hundreds of returners that never made that leap. -
