  1. From his foot and hip movement it looks like Brady has a hard-time changing direction, he's basically a straight ahead plough-horse. He's light years behind Harris in technique at this point.
  2. Last night, Jones secretly shuffled 12 players onto the 1 game I.R., let the bullshit begin....
  3. With their winning record over a decade the Stamps should be a flagship franchise, but they're not. Majority Flames owner Murray Edwards lives in exile in St. Moritz, he doesn't want to pay Cdn. taxes, even though he's become a billionaire by exploiting this countries natural resources.
  4. Looks like they put up a party tent behind one of their end-zones, but it's at ground level and so far removed from the live action, it looked isolated and dead.
  5. It is so ridiculous, you would never find this model of disfunction operating within a business meeting or a committee of any kind. The objective of achievement should be the common goal, if they have to remove the cameras to get them back to behaving rationally and responsibly so be it.
  6. Led by this dweeb?
  7. Imagine if half who hear you, fist pump and shout "f*ck yah!" That's the thing, in this age of social media you can easily find a group that supports your thinking, no matter how idiotic. In the past you would know you're an idiot, and probably keep your mouth shut.
  8. Caught the last Norm MacDonald special called "Nothing Special" on Netflix, filmed the day before he died in surgery, it's fascinating and haunting to watch considering the circumstances, and it's apparent he was very vital and would still be with us had the surgery gone well. Norm did not fade away. Followed up with a panel discussion with Dave Chappelle, David Letterman, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Conan O'Brien, and Molly Shannon, well worth the watch and countless re-watching. Here is the trailer. https://www.netflix.com/ca/title/81128851
  9. Speaking of despicable reptiles....again the court system provides the enabled protection whenever required. Tax evasion charges dropped against former Calgary MP Rob Anders on Day 1 of trial Until Monday, Anders faced five charges under the Income Tax Act for alleged activity between 2012 to 2018, including three counts of making false or deceptive statements, obtaining a refund he was not entitled to and evading payment of taxes. Anders was accused of failing to report more than $750,000 in income over a six-year period including alleged offences which overlapped with his time in government. Convictions come with maximum penalties of two years in jail and fines between 50 and 200 per cent of the evaded taxes. Police and court documents allege fraudulent rental expenses, mystery deposits as well as $750,000 in unreported income and capital gains hidden from the CRA by Anders. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/calgary-mp-conservative-party-rob-anders-tax-evasion-trial-1.6478465
  10. It took them 3 years to figure out Charles Nelson didn't quite fit their system, McNight has two years remaining to spring forth and surprise us.
  11. I agree, I think he will top out around Chris Normand or Kienan LaFrance talentwise, a solid plugger but not a star, but would end up back home with the Riders eventually anyways.
  12. Whatever happened with former Argo DC Glen Young, did he ever re-surface after Pinball turfed him for Chris Jones? I believe his D disrupted Collaros and handed the Bombers their only relevant loss last season.
  13. Don't be distracted, fingers are being pointed at the wrong people, they were put in a no-win situation and obviously failed, as would anyone in similar circumstances. Look to the top of the pyramid, not the bottom.
  14. Larry is bereft of solutions, his only plan is to jump aboard the coat-tails of a passing gravy train headed in the right direction, just another executive who cares not whether he sells hamburger or human organs, it's all just meat to him.
  15. Many in the US are pouring out their anger on Uvalde police dept. demanding their pound of flesh, again just a distraction from the real issue at hand....but hey, got to blame someone.
  16. From the desk of the Mighty Tanenbaum. MLSE Chair Larry Tanenbaum speaks about the CFL I do have to ask about the Argos, because the CFL seems constantly in trouble. Is there a solution to the league’s challenges? Yeah, I thought so, and I was working on it, but I’m not sure there’s alignment among [some of] the other ownership groups of the other eight teams. The community-owned teams seem to be satisfied with what’s happening in the CFL, so we’re working to see how the Argos fit into that scenario. I’m not happy with it. I’m not happy with the structure of the league. My concern is, in the major cities of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, it’s not attracted the younger fan engagement. You look at value creation and, you know, quite unfortunately, these teams are not worth that much money. The hockey, basketball or soccer teams are trading at hundreds of millions of dollars, in some cases billions of dollars. And you see the Argos, you know, a 106-year-old league, and what value creation are these franchises trading at? You’ve got to look at that and say, Is that success?
  17. I've never watched that one, always thought it was just a network cop show. I'm not very interested in anything fictional.
  18. As I miss a lot of the broadcasts during the summer I've had both in the past, the TSN "Games on Demand" is unreliable, unpredictable and frustrating, sometimes they make CFL replays available for a limited time, sometimes they don't even bother, no reason or rhyme. The dedicated CFL subscription services such as Yare TV post all games shortly after they end, and leave them up for the entire season to re-watch on demand. They used to cut out the commercials but they no longer do that, so re-watching a game takes just as long. If you only want to watch Bomber games a single team package can be purchased for $30 USD.
  19. This series isn't as broad as the Wire, it seems to be focussed mostly on the Police perspective, the criminal element are bit players and carry no weight. I can't see it running for more than a season or two as it's telling a very specific story. In some ways I think it's a reaction to the BLM movement, they have the Office of Civil Rights represented in the storyline for show, but in Baltimore, there are no solutions and nobody ever wins, they just keep shuffling the deck.
  20. I think so, Nichols never recovered from his injuries, Strev. couldn't get it done, and McGuire never panned out. If Pinball keeps Collaros the Bombers may have ended up with MBT, Arbuckle, Trevor Harris or maybe renewed their hopes signing Masoli this season.
  21. Not quite. Eric Tillman (born July 24, 1957)[1][2] is an American-born Canadian football executive who is the vice president of football operations for the Atlantic Schooners. I wonder if that is a paying gig, if so, who's paying him?
  22. Maybe not as big as the Ray trade, but Pinball's generosity in trading Collaros to the Bombers on the last day of the 2019 tradeline certainly has had a huge ongoing effect pushing them up over the hump. Without the miraculous delivery of Collaros, is O'Shea still H.C. with no cups in 7 years? Maybe not.
