I don't think these people realize 83% of Canadians made the simple cooperative decision to get at least the first vaccination, they've chosen a mole hill to die on and they continue to defend it with the mistaken belief they have the backing of the vast majority. Because of their continued belligerence, voting them off the island seems appropriate, it really comes down to FIFO.

2022/2023 Off-Season (League/Non-Bombers-specific News)
Wilder released by the Elks. “9 months ago I signed as one of the highest paid RBs in the game coming off a MVP season. This season I broke my neck and was told I need spinal surgery to play. Now (the Edmonton Elks) have no interest no more and I was told that I’m being released with the neck injury and all! Sheeesh!” https://3downnation.com/2022/12/04/running-back-james-wilder-jr-says-hes-been-released-by-elks-after-suffering-broken-neck-in-2022/

Don't Look Back - 2022/2023 Bombers Off Season
Re-watching the game I'm convinced Leggs was holding back on his punts for whatever reason, he does not put his full leg into them and it looked like he was more focused on placement over distance. His punting during the regular season was great, if I had a vote that's the only job he would be doing next season.

Too you and me sure, but for many Albertans he is regarded as "the best PM Canada ever had".

Good for Mueller, he's smart enough not to step into a tire fire and ruin his reputation, eventually he may inherit the Stamps HC job once Dickenson moves upstairs to replace Huff.

Mosaic Field (IGF West)
I remember in the 70's there were a few scattered B.P. in Wpg. that disappeared shortly after they opened, the last one standing was on North Main in W. Kildonan and it wasn't doing well. I think Treliving probably bought the rights to the name in bankruptcy and rebuilt the franchise from scratch.

I expect after the next Alberta election a new PC party will begin to reform with Harper's guidance and they will finally cleave off their ties to the far right lunatics Smith is currently representing. If the NDP trounce the UCP in May, this will be enough to revert to the AB. norm and put them in contention for the following election. The Wild Rose will probably reform with Brian Jean at it's head and Smith will return to talk-radio where she belongs.

We'll see if she can buy off the middle-of-the-road AB conservative voters, times are currently good in AB. with cash rolling in, most will probably pocket the cash and not bother to vote either way. After Smith accused the Federal govt. of recklessly spending driving inflation up to record levels, she spoke for 20 min. about how she is going to spend $2.4 billion recklessly in order to get herself re-elected next May. She disguised these payouts as doling out inflation relief to the elderly and the poor, curiously most households earning under $180,000 are eligible for the same rebates, so everyone will benefit. Here are some of the measures Smith said would be implementing: $600 over six months for seniors and families with kids under 18 (household incomes below $180,000) Suspend the entire fuel tax for the next six months Index all tax brackets retroactive to 2022 Index AISH, PDD, seniors’ benefit, child & family benefit to inflation $200 more in electricity rebates for six months

The TV Thread
Enjoying Tulsa King so far, as long as they keep the premise light I think it will continue to be good, but if Stallone wants to take it to a darker level like the Sopranos with excessive violence and death it will lose some of it's appeal.

BC has done a good job signing their receivers for longer contracts. The only 3 that are F.A.'s are: Bryan Burnham (A) Shai Ross (N) Jacob Scarfone (N) I know Cottoy is currently trying out in NFL camps and Rhymes may also have a few tryouts but on the whole they are well stocked with upcoming receiver prospects. Agree, nobody in the league can catch passes over the shoulder better than Demski and he usually takes them to the house. Lawler is great at catching difficult passes, but he's not as dynamic as Demski picking up YAC.

2022/2023 Off-Season (League/Non-Bombers-specific News)
My memory is hazy, but I believe Shiltz won a few games for the Als a few years back when they where struggling to win with Manziel, Pipkin and Drew Willy. He's been in the CFL for 5 years and has demonstrated he's a solid backup, but I don't think any team is going to anoint him their starter unless the Riders are left with no other options now that they've pissed off Fajardo.

I believe Shiltz was also injured much of the second half of the season, I think the Cats plan to hold onto him as their backup and move on from Evan's bigger contract and scrambled emotions.

I dunno, what skills does Brown have that makes him so much better than Shiltz in your opinion? Both have decent but not great arms, decent but not great runners, both are level headed.....pretty similar IMO.

I don't see this miraculous upside in Drew Brown, from a skill perspective he looks to be fairly limited, If he pans out near Shiltz as a competent backup that can read the field well and move the offence that will be a bonus, but I don't see him as Zach's replacement 3 years down the road.

His wife is from Washington State and Bo used to spend the off-season there, pretty compelling reason to sign with BC as well if Rourke is gone.
