  1. If Darvin doesn't come back there is still one open spot and if they bring in Ellingson as a replacement the last receiver better have good speed.
  2. So the claim that the CFL lost $60-80 million in 2020 and playing in half empty stadiums in 2021 were just illusions?
  3. I could see Harris loving the role of playing the "heel", he might even dawn a mask for the Banjo Bowl!
  4. Sheesh, the cost of missing the playoffs is going up!
  5. Uhhh....Hervey has been gone for a few years now, the top man in BC is Neil McEvoy.
  6. Can't see why the Elks would be interested in Harris at all,, they've re-signed Wilder and they already have the little buzz-bomb Walter Fletcher under contract for another year, which gives them a very strong backfield.
  7. If Brady goes elsewhere so be it, they've signed Johnny and can use whatevers left over to sign Harris to share the load. In the age of 1 year contract it's not a big deal to lose a player for a year or two, if Brady decides he wants to return he only has to wait one or two years for another opportunity to negotiate a deal with Walters. By that time Harris will be out of the picture.
  8. Yah but a torn ACL is not as serious as it used to be.....in days of yore if you pulled up lame they would just shoot you.
  9. Last year he was still recovering from a torn ACL, he did participate in TC but he was not 100% recovered yet so they had no choice but to release him. If he's still living in the neighbourhood I wouldn't be surprised to see him invited to camp again if he is healthy and still pursuing football.
  10. Korey Banks was a 10 year CFL vet. that came over from the Lions in a trade for Kito Poblah.
  11. I could also see Harris landing in Ottawa, LaPo could use him.
  12. Time to unstrap Legghio from his booster seat and throw him into the shark tank. Sink or swim!
  13. I don't see it, considering the level of competition he played against I don't think Borsa is going to be the "next one". His skill level may pan out similar to Wolitarsky and he may find his place on ST but I don't think he's going to be of the same caliber as the 4 Natl. RB the Bombers employed last season. Hopefully I'm wrong.
  14. I like Demski in the Demski role, at this point he's more valuable to the team, than AH.
  15. I half expect the dirty Riders to make a big play for Stove, ditching old Micah J. if he signs and proclaiming to their fans they have dealt the Bombers another death blow. I mean they have to do something to make it look like they're at least trying...
  16. Mourtada was 8/15, so the accuracy of your statement is out by 53.3%.
  17. O'Day just stared at Cody until he buckled.....then he wailed.
  18. That would have been under Ed Hervey and his big bag of tricks, is there anyone on the Lion staff left from his regime? I believe that was the last year Wally coached.
  19. Where is Mike Reilly when you need him??? Put that receiving corps on the field and he might un-retire.
  20. BC re-signed him in Dec. to a two year deal, he's not going anywhere.
  21. You forgot Dominique Rhymes who must be over $150,000 as well, every team needs a solid 4th receiver. 🙄
  22. 3DownNation @3DownNation Blind side's back: B.C. Lions re-sign left tackle Joel Figueroa
  23. Don't know, it could be he signs one year contracts and doesn't mind moving around, he had over 1,000 yds. receiving with the Esks. in 2019, so I don't think it's performance related. Maybe he's looking to play for a winner.
  24. Ricky Collins, the Don Unamba of receivers, he's been solid everywhere he's gone and he's as tough as Bailey inside. He may not be #1 replacement caliber at 29, but he can still get the job done as a secondary receiver. Probably fairly inexpensive too.
  25. Careful he's from the Maritimes, Kyle could send Jake over to his sea-side shack with a bottle of Screech and a contract.
