Don't remember it being 5 years...He came up the leos ranks quite rapidly as I recall and then was deemed too good to sit as a back-up and dealt to the schmoes..In any case Nichols isn't going anywhere soon and the next guy will rise....Let's hope we have him in our midst now

Most likely exploring all angles....Maybe the injury isn't season ending and we just need a 'gap guy' for now...Best not let another club know how desperate we are (if we are) and set something up this weekend...If it's only a stop gap measure then deal accordingly But wouldn't it be great to find out we have another star in this league...namely Streveler...I always try to look at the bright side during adversity...and wouldn't it be great if we find out we have another Riley under our nose

IF Matt is hurt for any lengthy period , I hope Streveler is James Franklin 2 cuz the alternatives aren't going to thrill anyone...Don't like the sounds of this and will wait for more info. and hope it's forth coming soon

Why is it we seem to start so damn slow...then have to scramble like hell to get back on even terms....The kick return for a td was right out of the gate and I can remember last year similar poor coverage on returns amounting to the same thing...We have to shore that up because that kind of start can be trend setting and game killers...The early going was sure a disappointment although we turned it around in a hurry...I'd like to see us grab the early lead for a change and then pile it on...The talent is here to do just that

Give the guy some time to prove he has what it takes to lead this club ...Way too early to anoint him as the 'next' guy....I have to admit he sure showed a lot of 'promise' last night and that's a good thing...He has to 'keep on'...'keepin on' before I'd answer 'yes' in this poll

Big question mark for sure....I have always been a fan of the guy....Brings it on every play BUT time catches up with us all and IF someone is better at his position you go with it...I think Ian has a future in coaching in this league...he has the smarts to better any team in this league...I hope it's with us after his playing days are done and if he gets beat out this year I hope he sticks around and we find a spot for him in the coaching ranks...AND no I'm not Wild's relative

These pre-season games are going to separate the wheat from the chaff and there could be a few surprises...No matter how good you look in camp...if you can't perform when the lights are on...cut time around the corner....I think we've brought in enough talent to definitely improve this year....Just how much???We're about to find out pretty quick
