  1. Bring back the brown bags.
  2. No discipline, lousy special teams co-ordinator, lousy offensive co-ordinator, lousy d co-ordinator.Just a few of the problems plaguing this team. Good luck Mike O with this junk. Another disappointing year to add to the pile of losing seasons.
  3. Done and done. Not the law firm but this club has finished up their season against a bunch of near-do-wells. The hopelessness in this town continues.
  4. So with all the resources available to Napkin boy, then he shouldn't have much trouble finding a replacement for DD. I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Taman is most likely mulling over which draft pic he is going to have to cough up and or player, to get it done. Much like he did here.
  5. Says he's ready to go at db as well. He'd like to add another Cup win to his already impressive collection. Go Kenny.
  6. Although I agree with most of what Doug said, it's not easy for fans of a team that hasn't won the Cup in 24 years to not express concern. Anytime there is a slide, like what is occurring now, it's easy to see why the locals get a bit antsy. Sure we've made progress, but outdoing that clown show from last year, wasn't that hard to accomplish. We're still a long way from the 'promised land', as Brown likes to put it, and the feeling of futility of no Cup appearance is always there, especially IF we don't at least make a playoff spot. Should we have expected that? I think the possibility of that was a definite or close to it early on in the season, and to see it evaporate has a lot of fans wondering about the regression. The fact is we can still make post season play if we get out of this funk and get a few injured guys back. I don't agree with already looking at next year, like Doug infers, not when there's still hope in 2014. I guess I've always been a guy with the 'glass is half full' type, and I wish a few more of the media guys in this city had the same bent. Meanwhile on to Ottawa and start turning this thing around.
  7. AND Tito Sunshine is most likely going to be their man as Durant, will in all likelihood not be back, and a trade is pie in the sky.
  8. Brown has done nothing this year and as I've said Logan hasn't been having a great year. Should be a good test for them this weekend in the hammer. IF they drop that one...game on.
  9. Logan is the go to guy with Harris gone and Logan hasn't been all that impressive this year. The leos have taken a hit and just might be catchable if we can get our act together. Lots of rumblings on the lions site, that it might be tough to finish the year successfully, with a chunk of their offence gone. Tough break for Harris. Really like the kid and hope he recovers to continue his career. I'm hoping one year he'll end up wearing bluengold. Dare to dream.
  10. Let's see, the guy just had an operation and he's going to return to form, to deliver the goods. Sounds like a lot of bunk. Even if he could start throwing again his arm strength will have been diminished. If they thought Sunseri was bad, bring Durant back early and watch him skip a few IF he could do that. Also Taman is so confident in having his no 1 guy back, that he's trying to play let's make a deal. What a bunch of nonsense brought to you by the melon wearing spin guys. lol
  11. I think the Esks. saw a wounded duck and went for the throat. The riders without Durant are up the creek and post season play without him will be short and sweet. Looks good on those melonheads.
  12. You mean that Willy is as hard as nails. I'm pretty sure you meant to say HARD. Yeah, hard and Willy just seem to be synonymous. This kid is one tough s.o.b. AND twice the qb. that Collaros is.
  13. A lot of the younger guys on here wouldn't have got to see Kenny Ploen play. Watching old time tapes doesn't do him justice. He was the consummate quarterback. Intelligent, wily, and talented. Leo Lewis and Kenny were a dynamic and dangerous pair any time on the field. The Cups attest to that fact. Ploen was the best qb. this club has ever seen and it's too bad that everyone judging this couldn't have seen him play. Was a real treat and the Bombers were a force in the CFL when he was the guy behind centre. Kenny hands down.
  14. If this trade goes through it looks like hell. It's so friggin obvious there's a conflict of interest here and the rest of the league should be objecting loud and long about this b.s. Braley has to divest himself from one of his clubs and quit making the league look like we haven't much credibility. This latest cozy little deal is pure bull$hit.
  15. Excellent re-signing. This guy comes to play and produces. We need more Clarence Denmarks on this club.
  16. For cripes sake. At practice as well. Seems we can't catch a break this year. Just too many gawdamned injuries. If we can get past the leos and take our break, maybe we can bring someone in. Bloody hell.
  17. With Durant out for the remainder of the season, I'll go out on a limb now and say the riders just seen their year go up in smoke. Three best starting qbs. left in the west are Drew Willy, Bo Levi and Reilly (whenever he gets back). I like our chances A LOT.
  18. Football can be a cruel game sometimes. It would be a miracle if he ever came back and why would he bother to just have a repeat situation. Bad news for the CFL. Cue up Glenn for the next one against us. As I recall he was scrapping himself up off the field in their last game at home. Good luck Wally, not looking good on the left coast.
  19. Hall would be a great addition. He was a beast for us and could still be a big difference maker. How anyone could question that is beyond belief.
  20. There's too much upheaval in Mont. right now to consider a firing. They will have truly thrown in the towel if Higgins is canned and with the way that division is playing, hey, they still have a shot....as embarrassingly as that might seem.
  21. For the naysayers, the argos we're sitting there with a bye week. We were coming into T.O. with a five day turn around. Certainly they have a few injuries but we're not exactly 100 percent either. Way too early to jump off the band wagon. We certainly have some concerns but I expect O'Shea will have this team ready for the next one. Give it time people...give it time.
  22. The obvious problem on D is there is no or very little defence against the run. We're making some of these average running backs with a little size look like all stars. We need some beef in the middle. We're way too light and some of these backs are dragging our guys for 10 yds. We have to address this immediately or, now that is a commonly known weakness, we will be exploited every game. I think we've unearthed a gem in Stoudermire. He did cough one up that went out of bounds but overall this kid is the returner we've been looking for. Great game for his initial start and I'm looking forward to him taking one to the house, especially in riderville.
  23. Brink starting for the ALS. And so the futility in Mont. continues. What was wrong with Marsh, or is he out of favour with the latest guy put in charge of the qbs. Must be a call coming from the owner.
  24. If we're talking worst owner in the history of the CFL, Murray Pezim, former owner of the leos name, comes to mind. I don't think Wettenhal has hit that level of incompetence.....yet.
