Apparently Rourke is going to play according to reports....Let's look at that closely and every facet of the game he has.....Taking off on a running play would be very foolish and down right disastrous for the guy....IF he just stands in the pocket and hopes to carve the opposition apart , eventually he becomes a sitting duck .... his escapability definitely will be hampered trying to coddle the injured area...The scenario is bad anyway look at it BUT it loks like he's going to give it a shot....Foolish to say the least BUT it's his career...

Doesn't really matter who we face in the final.....firstly one of those clubs will be coming out of a soft -arsed stadium, to play in the friendly confines of our '''let's say ' fresher air stadium that will probably be a lot 'chillier' than the west coast....Running game will definitely come into play....Not scared of the lions running attack and the stump's backs are going to get tested here....Going to be interesing on how it all turns out as we wait patiently with a rested and healthy club

The fans there have forgotten what a home win is....what's it been ....3 yrs. and counting....It'll be like a Cup win if they can put one in the win column at home

Getting the crew back together for some serious reps..........excellent.....Ellingson definitely needs the work and its great to see Woli and Jeffcoat back.....Hopefully Wilson can return ...that would be a huge plus

First of all T.O. has to make it to the big game....that's not a given.....Harris would be formidable if that happened .... but is he a 100 percent...The torn muscle he suffered is one that's a long time healing....just can't see him returning this season

Ya think the pressure will be on Jonesie to produce next year....He'll be on the hotseat from the word go....He used to be able to put a fairly good product on the field....didn't see a move in that direction at all in this campaign...His 'continual tryout season' that replaced the actual season was short on talent as far as I could see.....(maybe the little back Brown stood out a bit) Jones needs to be better than that to stick around....Their whole roster is suspect except for Ceresna, which brings me to, I hope we make him an offer in fa next year, and return the favour for the Lawler signing...Jake would be a MEGA monster on our D

Don't know if you're old enough to remember that Winnipeg was the centre of aviation in this country...The country's overhaul base was in the Peg until Trudeau senior moved it to Montreal on a strictly political move....Aviation during the second world war was huge in Winnipeg ...we've always had an airforce theme....Look at the Jets jersey's...besides I think the name Jets fits very well with our other professional team the Bombers....Jets/Bombers....all fits for me

I noticed the same thing in the loss to leo's.....As much as he wanted to see Dru Brown get playing time, I could see on Zack's face that he really wanted to be out there...It's the nature of the guy...a true winner

Can't figure out why Leggs was coming up short on those long fieldgoal attempts....I know he's got the Leg for long distance attempts....something wasn't working...BUT what is working is his tackling, after he missed one 3 pointer and their returner was heading for open turf....he nailed him.....Luv it when the kicker can get in those licks heh heh

Bailey......for sure ,had himself quite a night Parker......he was all over the place making plays Brown .....for the playing time he's had put in a solid effort (except for two passes I know he wants back)

It ended the way I thought...Leo's getting the 2 pts. ...As for the game itself.....did not like our cover teams on those kick offs....Letting the other team start at the 50 yd. line continuously is going to cost us.....As for Brown....he's green and it shows....panicked a few times and ended up eating the ball....However that was better than throwing those two outs that went for six in the wrong direction...Thought after the first one he'd have known that you better look off the lurking defender, on those type of passes, and make damned sure our guy was in a better position to receive the ball....Disaster twice...the first one was rushed as it was a bad snap but the second one was all on him....Leggs was off of his game ....can't have that as those pts. are going to be needed in the playoffs...All in all it wasn't that bad an effort from a team with missing parts that make a difference....Didn't like that injury to Kolankowski....hope he's going to be alright

We know our guys will be putting out .....future jobs being considered and all that.....We also know the leo's are hungry for that semi to be played in their digs...effort plus will be their game...In any case I'm really looking forward to this one
