Drinking and driving.....with the horrendous consequences I don't see why people still do it.....Chances are they're going to get nailed and rightly so.....While I was reading Speedflex's account of his family's nightmare with drink, it brought back a memory I can never forget....My dad suffered from PTSD afer the war and his choice for an anesthetic was alcohol...We owned a Fargo panel truck in the fifties with an old davenport couch set up in the back for all of the kids...I remember going down Main street about 80 miles an hour....through red lights with my dad drunk at the wheel....My pregnant mother was sitting beside him and all of us kids were in the back...My mom was pleading for him to stop or at least slow down but to no avail...I just watched the traffic barely missing us as we went through intersections...Finally something must have gone through my dads clouded mind that this was a disaster in the making and he drove us home...He continued on and went off to McPhillips and finally the highway where he flipped the truck into a waterfilled ditch where the mounties found him with a broken neck and his nose just above the water line....How he survived is beyond me but things could have been much worse had he not dropped us all off....Drinking and driving should never be an option for anyone and if you do it ....the consequences can be a disastrous life altering event....Don't do it

Hard to pick just three guys in a total team effort.....Woli....Lawler stood out....Zack for his pin point passing....Have to mention Mourtada.....I thought the guy was going to be on a bus trip outta here after his first game but he seems to have found his mojo.....Now IF he can put a couple of long one's through the uprights ..say a 45'er or a fifty yarder, then I think we may be on to something

Lucky wasn't so lucky....I like the guy and it's a tough break (no pun intended) BUT I'm more concerned with Woli and what looks to be a tear in the leg muscle ...Hope he shakes it off for the next tilt ....he's proving to be an invaluable asset.....The team excelled in every facet of the game ....solid and we are in a very good position heading into the last leg of the season....Hope the injury bug doesn't rear it's ugly head ...I got a little nervous in that one ....Is Mourtada for real?.....looks to be

So the up coming dome game should tell us for sure IF we have a competent kicker on our roster...I know we aren't going to see any 55 yarders BUT both Mourtada and Leggs have the leg strength to put it through the uprights from inside the 50....It's the accuracy that seems to have eluded them...They better get it right (no pressure lol) or the hunt will be on for a kicker that can get it done...Like the coaches say ...'see the ball....kick the ball'....lose the yipps or you'll lose your seat on the flight home

Don't know what they gave Reilly on the sideline during their last game against the green guys, but he hobbled off after a run, and then in their next series came out like a 24 yr. old not 34....He was jumping around...looking fresh as all get out....and ran a couple of plays where he took off and picked up decent yardage....I think sometimes he puts on the 'dog' and gives the opposition a false sense of security ...then sneaks in some pretty impressive yardage on a run....Don't know if that's advisable against us as we handle the run game really well....BUT it's best to keep the pressure on this guy most of the time or he'll kill you with his arm...Looking forward to this contest AND I hope we don't come out with a little rust after our bye...

Everything out of Suits mouth in the broadcast was all about how the horned guys should take the Bombers apart with this and that and when the BigBlue we're taking the elks apart he skipped over that briefly....I think this guy really dislikes us........................Harris moved up in the overall CFL rushing dept. last night....Kudos Andrew

Dickenson playing a little reverse psychology ....sometimes that works.....sometimes it can blow up in your face....I like coaches who are straight up but denigrating your own squad would be bottom of my list ...It might give some players an inferiority/ insecurity complex

Suitor is a rider hack.....It's so obvious and he slips up from time to time in the broadcast exposing his bias....I think he still thinks he's a rider db .....Message to Suits.....get off of the rider wagon and maybe consider giving the homer telecasts a miss.....your rider underwear is showing

After watching that film bit....I really think he might have been the best back we ever had....No taking anything away from our present guy Andrew...but pound for pound he has to be ranked close to the best this league has ever seen.....How soon we forget ....but watching Charlie cut it up field and making the opposition look silly, just brought back all of those thrilling moments he gave us

Leo Lewis ....Roberts......Harris.........some of the best talent ever to wear BluenGold and we've had some good ones.....Don't know why Roberts ended up the way he did...He sure gave us a 100 percent on the field ....lot of thrills ....His private life...not so thrilling...Though not football, Derek Sanderson (NHL) reminded me a lot of Blink....All the talent in the world and ended up essentially 'bums'
