He's watching the whole way BUT our db cut off and interfered with his line of vision...Call it horseshoes orrrrr a receiver just plain reacting as he should and got lucky....either way he scored six and the rest of the discussion from that part on is just conceptual semantics
-
BUT ..you're missing my point.....BOTH tds. were of the spectacular variety...I think you'd agree...Were they similar in every aspect NO....but very similar in resulting in a td. that was not very likely......my take...you have yours
-
I disagree....unless Beggleton can see through people, he never knew where that ball actually was till it was in his hands...the way I sees it...In any event both tds. were of the spectacular unbelievable variety ...but they happen
-
Oh I think Beggleton was just as surprised as our guy in that clip when the ball appeared in his hands...Coverage was that tight and I can't see how that was completed...Strange things happen sometimes in football.........................oh and thanx for the clip
-
Yesiree...great throw that was needle threaded ...and reminded me of a velcro catch one of our guys made a few yrs. back....the receiver was just as stunned as the qb. when that was completed for a td....Anyone got a clip of that???
-
Kinda confoosin too,,,,it ain't got the number 13 on dere

I'll tell you one thing and that's IF Streveler does start and he doesn't last past a series of downs ,I'm going to be one pi$$ed off fan...This is a nothing game...it's between riders and stumps to see who takes the top rung...We're playing out the string and it's time to test McGuire and see IF Collaros has anything left... After this game ,the bye week will give us some time to figure something out (although some say if we haven't figured anything out by now....welll).. Circumstances have changed a bit with the addition of Collaros...We made a deal for him....let's see what he's got .. AND McGuire
-
O'Shea never ever knew the meaning of 'when to hold em and when to fold em'...He has a poor in depth grasp of what is going on and field presence....Seems to just go with the flow and an 'oh well' attitude...Certainly isn't the hallmark of a winner....and that's where we stand and will continue to do so as long as he is the head coach....The writing is definitely on the wall........hello rebuild and another 5 yrs; in the wilderness
-
Chances are great but if you don't capitalize on any of them, the chances are eventually going to run out ,and it's awful painful looking at an empty Grey Cup trophy shelf
-
Dun dun dun da.....how long before fans start calling for heads...What pitiful efforts in front of our own crowd...You just knew those player losses were going to come back and haunt...First bad sign is the non sell outs and we can't blame it on the storm....
-
Who the hell cares about who is responsible for the 30 year drought....there were people put in place to end the bloody thing and that hasn't happened in the last 5...They have this year to end it...period...quit the glazing over
-
If Sask. eclipses us headed for the Cup then there has to be some accountability...Trying to sell mediocrity and spinning your tires is not going to go down well IF we are one and done....The knives will be out...O'Shea will likely be gone (if he doesn't have those plans already) and the house cleaning will begin....Of course we can still win it all and everything will be hunky dory... Not many people putting money on that scenario though..We'll see
-
Roberson......one of their best db's.....Streve might want to look in that area ....hmmmmm
-
Fair ball .. but I get to make commentary on how I see it and I don't give a rats ass what anyone thinks about my take
-
Stamps running game is nothing to fear..... but covering Rogers,Beggleton and Mayala is a concern....We have to find a way to shut these guys down or we'll be in for a long night....Mitchell has to be hurried and pressure from our front four has to be intense, or he'll butcher us....Play smart...don't take dumb penalties and hope our running game proves to be too much for them to handle...I think we have a good shot to take these last two games and being healthy at the right time is going to help...I hope Streve doesn't remain one dimensional in this game because you just know the stumps will be keying on the run all night...Should be a real slobberknocker and I hope the heck we come away the winner
-
This team plays better on the road....Crap performance for the locals....Buff we need help or this is going to be a very loooooong year
-
If the chain was being used at the beginning of the year ,how come we hadn't seen it until recently....Would have been a nice story to start the year...right now it looks like we are a cheap knock off
-
Did the Als. have 'edward scissors hands' in their lineup because someone sure shredded the hell out of Harris's jersey....Even the ripping and holding on didn't slow him down...good news in this weather....On another observation you could see Mont. trying to rip the ball out on nearly every play...even when the play was dead.....Really aggressive play but I didn't see that from our guys....maybe we should get a heads up and try it
-
How about the game they never finished in Montreal that was handed to them....horseshoes planted squarely up their arse
-
Have to believe we'll be seeing a lot of the stumps in the next little while AND IF that's the case I hope we can knock them off twice (tall order) and get the semi at home.... In any case I think we'll be sick of each other by then ... and if we can advance, ready ourselves to pound the riders in their own backyard....Dreamin in hi-definition,possibly, but after 29 yrs. of empty, I'm grasping at anything On a little side note.....Is the ad at the top of the 'topic listing' page on this site ...stumptown...Is that the new name for Calgary /// and how did they get a series
-
Streveler Harris Jefferson But for cripes sake get rid of that bloody chain.....I thought we were innovative here not some cheap knock off
-
We did what we had to do BUT there is still glaring misses in this team...We can't continually flub opportunities in the red zone ...especially against a club like Cal. ....Still playing too soft on receivers and if that continues Bo will carve us up like this weekends turkey...What the hell has happened to Darvin Adams...Streve delivered a very catch able ball for big yardage and Adams muffed it...No extra coming from this guy and we need that....Big games coming up and on the positive Harris is running wild...Home and home with the stumps will pretty much sum up our season...Here's hopin'
-
Agree we have to get Collaros on the field with some serious reps...That alone can take the pressure off of Streveler especially if he can come in and move the ball through the air with some authority...Can't expect miracles but at least we have an option now

TO/OTT And Cal/Sask: Its Friday Night Football Discussion
Stickem replied to rebusrankin's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Better go get a crying towel and look up your pal Brock Sniveler...Yes life goes on...but you're right...you ain't good enough... -
Nichols couldn't run to save his life....BUT could stretch the field....Streveler is the best running qb. in the league but his passing game is lacking....So we have two qb's. with every good attributes..Too bad we couldn't roll both into one....As the weather progressively worsens I think the running qb. has the advantage...especially when the 'rock' actually turns into one and receivers hands go frigid....But we need Streve to put together a respectable passing game to be successful as well but stay heavy with the run....Plays designed more toward the run will be more successful ..It'll be an interesting test today
