I'm pretty sure the bolded part confirms your original statement... not contradicts it... I don't think Jones is in trouble this year (mid-season)... unless we're talking about a catastrophically bad start... like 0-10 with an average deficit of 15 points, etc...

There was also a money issue (as in BC offered more)... I met Milt some time around 05/06 at a charity event (it was a relatively small dinner so I actually had a chance to have some real conversation with him)... I asked him about Geroy and he said it he wanted to come back but he, understandably, followed the money...

this x1000... the NHL draft is basically a crapshoot after the first few picks... if look up the guys taken between 13-24 in the draft the last 5-10 years and you'll basically see no correlation between the success rate at 13 vs the success rate at 24.... haha, yeah I'm sure that would go over well in Toronto... but I'd gladly take it

These two statements appear to be contradictory ... I don't particularly care about tonight's game... but I wouldn't mind seeing* Durant put up 400+ yards with 5 TDs and and about 50 on the scoreboard... *I won't actually be watching the game... so more like reading the boxscores...
