My thoughts exactly. Willy doesn't hurt his knee that game, it's only a matter of time before he's hurt during another game. Thankfully he didn't come back this season and let MB have another chance at ruining his career. I hope come Monday, MB is no longer apart of this team. I really hope so too... the worst thing the team can do right now is drag it on like they did with Etch...

The Bombers vaguely tweeted that he was being honoured at half time... my first reaction was "WTF, for what?!?".... then I realized it's Toronto honouring him for his playing days... well deserved...

If he gets there early I'd like to see him taken out... I'd also like to see Waggoner at MLB and/or safety...

so incredibly untrue, I don't even know where to begin.... just cuz someone doesn't walk up to you and slap you in the face, doesn't mean they don't exist... But this is pretty much the point, not everyone wants to do the legwork to find music and rock as a genre that gets lots of airplay in the popular mediums? Not much. *media But yes, New Rock radio sucks.....and it's Rock-ness is questionable, at best. Actually medium is the right word.... FM radio, TV and satellite streaming are 3 different mediums for music...

The only way Willy doesn't get hurt... is in an entirely different offensive system... I think we would be a much better team with a different offense....

Neufeld was no worse than anyone else we started at RT... I think he is a lot better at RT than anywhere interior...

Rock died sometime in the late 80's and early 90's. There were a few grunge bands that managed to keep rock and roll alive somewhat...but sadly they too were overtaken by the autotuned/computer super-produced music we have had ever since. Why do 50000 people show up for an AC/DC concert? Because even though there music is as old as the hills they have the actual musical ability to play a live show successfully. Unfortunately, not many bands do anymore without lip-synching and computer generated autocorrection of their musical misteps. wrong on so many levels... people who think "rock is dead" is a major pet peeve of mine... I agree the medium for rock music is limited... if you want to find good music, you have to put a little effort in... here's a good tip... trust what your favourite artists from the 60s and 70s are saying/doing... for example, one of the main reasons I went to AC/DC is b/c Vintage Trouble is one of my favourite bands... one of the major reasons I'm going to Black Sabbath (along with the fact that they are awesome) is that the Rival Sons are one of my favourite bands... find a band you like and let the YouTube wormhole take you from there!

Good reason to watch the game...

Edmonton/Ottawa wouldn't be completely out of the question... Hamilton has a huge question mark at QB and Tor just isn't good enough... BC will lose badly to Cgy and Edm seems to finally have Cgy's number... this huge layoff could hurt them though... 2013 Season: Edmonton is 4-14, Ottawa doesn't exist and Winnipeg is 3-15... 2015 Season: Edmonton is 14-4, Ottawa is potentially 12-6, and Winnipeg is still pathetic....

it's sad that so many of us feel the same way... I fear this may be true... but hoping we're wrong...

After some time to reflect.... I'm not as mad about this choice as I was yesterday... while I am no fan of them, it seems like this is a pretty good get for the CFL... the beer lines will probably be long during half time anyways....

I don't normally get too bothered by half time performers... I thought Imagine Dragons was ok last year... I was just hoping for something that I would enjoy since I'll actually be there... but alas, such are the breaks... I've calmed down now, probably would've been beneficial if I wasn't near a computer at the time of this announcement

I've just never been a fan of the emo pop-punk genre... just listening to these songs Jpan posted... sounds like they've added some electronic, auto-tune stuff into their music... which IMO downgrades it even more... though Uma Thurman is a funny song title... with a band like this it just seems like theatrics and entertainment are more important than the actual music... How this for a timely reference... wasn't the bass player dating (married??) to Jessica Simpson's sister??... yeah that's right, the kids say I'm hip... and I'm only 29... I can imagine what the 50+ crowd thinks of this announcement...

I guess I should start listening to hot 103 more often... just kidding, I know it's called Virgin Radio now .... I'm not that out of touch...

a pop-punk band that was popular 10 years ago... that's fine if you're ok with that... I'm not... I don't pretend to be a modern pop music expert... but I honestly haven't heard these guys in the news in years...

Even two years ago Edm. swept the Bombers, so they were never quite as bad. I think they had a similar record though. Edm 4-14, Wpg 3-15
