IMO we have very few untouchable players. I would say maybe these guys... D: Leggett, Randle, Turner, Anderson, Wild O: Willy, Greaves, Goossen, Moore Now before anyone misconstrues what I've just said (cuz inevitably someone will)... I don't mean everybody else should be gone... I just mean that everyone else definitely needs to be playing for their job the next few weeks...

Kromah had the chance to take his job and couldn't do it. Kromah was leaps and bounds better than Kuale. Kromah was better based on the fact that he wasn't taking stupid penalties and constantly drawing attention to himself by celebrating mediocre plays... but based on actual football play, IMO he had yet to distinguish himself... hopefully that changes on Monday...

Obviously Lawless is right here.... but is he realistic? of course not... I have a great idea... the Bombers need to sign Heenan, trade January, Grigsby, and Cotton to Calgary for Cornish and Brett Jones, then ship off Aaron Kelly and JFG to BC for Arseneaux and their 1st round pick.... badda-bing the offence is fixed! That play is really hard to watch... especially on the slo-mo replay when you can clearly see EJ throw his helmet right in Buck's face... nice play by Buck though to get the ball down field... Darren Cameron?

Personally, I am always interested in the Bombers... yeah I actually went to every game last year .... I'll follow the CFL until the end.... NHL season doesn't really start till February IMO, so that's when the Jets will get more of my attention... right now it's all Bombers and NFL...

Every time another GM makes a move, some people automatically jump to the "why isn't Walters doing anything?" conclusion... there are so many extenuating circumstances that we'll probably never know.... maybe we did inquire and he chose Edm.... maybe he told his agent to try and shop him to Edm... maybe Mtl refused to release him to us cuz a Bomber staff member slept with Weddenall's daughter years ago and he's secretly had it in for us all this time (making up rumours FTR).... Just because another team did something... it doesn't mean we're doing nothing...

I think that's the most important take away here... for the first time in years we have a quality HC and QB to build around... now we just need to fill in all the surrounding holes...

This is simply a case of fans only hearing what they want to hear... it's human nature to pay more attention to the optimistic news... there seems to be more evidence suggesting Durant will not play again this season... but evidence and facts are not relevant to some people in some situations...

That's pretty much what I would say. He had a couple of stops here with us. He is a big man that's for sure. He didn't look out of place out there but for whatever reason never locked up a job. Being non-import likely was the biggest thing going against him IMO. Had he been a national likely would have had a lot more playing time. I'll be interested to see how he does for you guys. He may be able to help out while you battle through injuries and be a serviceable backup later. Also being American, he likely comes at a salary cap friendly price. I assume he backed up Fulton last year?... Fulton - Labatte - Picard - Best - Heenan... pretty tough to crack that lineup, especially as an Int... PS still laughing about "that's high praise"

I've personally always hated championships as being THE factor in judging a QB... a championship is the ultimate team accomplishment, especially in football... to downgrade guys like Jim Kelly and Dan Marino because they didn't play on teams as good as the 70s steelers and the 80s 49ers is insanity... yeah it matters, but it shouldn't be the be all end all... I voted for Ploen... mostly based on reputation... since Khari is the only one I ever saw play live...

IIRC Goossen played all five positions at some point in time at SFU.... if Morley can play a few more years at centre and Goossen can play RG... that solidifies the interior line for the foreseeable future.... January - Greaves - Morley - Goossen - new Imp tackle/Neufeld/Jones?

I wouldn't mind see Pointbriand getting more involved in the offence... watching him steam-roll T-Brack a few weeks ago was a thing of beauty... but I'm thinking more like 5 plays a game and the occasional short yardage hand-off

Isn't Manitoba an agriculture province? It very much is... I know quite a few farmers and actually know some people who will become 3rd and 4th generation farmers (for some reason)... I guess the irony makes it funny, at least it does to me!
