  1. Nice that the entire staff is finally official...
  2. Detroit or BC? http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Grigsby+seeks+measure+with+Lions/6674771/story.html Thanks
  3. These first two posts basically sum up everyone's opinion...
  4. Well if he's no good at Football maybe he can take up a career in Meth production? I seem to recall somewhere that you can make a fortune at this My understanding is it doesn't typically end well...
  5. Detroit or BC?
  6. What does pwned mean? I feel like I'm young enough I should know this... Also, I agree with most that Max Hall is better than Elliot.... Elliot has better ability to scramble and maybe a stronger arm, but equally as inaccurate so there's no real advantage there...
  7. Pretty unrealistic to think we would use our #2 overall pick on a guy who is a project on O-line, let alone a centre... Would be nice to have that 2nd rounder right now, Smith or Gill could be available at #11
  8. I'd certainly welcome Hall back.... Hall and Vega on the ends could be deadly
  9. 2015 fourth rounder
  10. I'm very surprised this actually has some legs and a legitimate shot of going through.... I kinda figured this was just one of those things someone threw on the table and it would get quickly swept aside...
  11. So when a running back breaks off a 40 yard run that is brought back cuz of a phantom hold, that's not a drastic play?? Also, since when is holding the "most obvious call to make"? Holding is probably the most subjective call that exists in football... you could argue there's holding by any lineman on almost every play... Penalties should never be review-able, it just opens up a huge can of worms.... Like I said previously, train the officials better and accept the fact that human error will always exist no matter how well trained they are
  12. Has there been confirmation that he's actually in town?
  13. this is quite possibly the stupidest idea I've heard in a long time.... the correct solution is to properly train the officials and expect that human error will come in to play every once and a while...
  14. If this is true, it's definitely out best coaching move this offseason...
  15. I was just thinking it's getting a little late to have not named an Oline coach yet.... Not terribly optimistic that we'll get Wylie but I'll hold out hope until it's in stone... Chiu was a centre, correct? That might be helpful for developing a young centre
  16. Thank for the analysis into the CIS... it's hard to find a lot on info like this...
  17. Pierre Lavertu - likely returns to Laval for another season David Foucault - currently making his rounds through the NFL Regional Combines. Other OL options: Mattias Goosen - can play C or G at the CFL level. Can't return to school so he's available for rookie camp in May. Aaron Picton - experience playing RT but likely a RG in the CFL Adam Hughes - to take him second overall is a big reach but could be a consideration later as a 6'5" LG that could play the right side too. Luckily we don't have a recent history of doing that
  18. I hope the team lasts for a long time, I wanna see a 10 team league soon... maybe even 12 in the next 10-15 years would be great... As far as how long Desjardins will last... that's a different story... it would have to be a colossal disaster for him get fired this year but you never know...
  19. I agree... but that's not the point I was making
  20. What round do you think Urchel will fall, 2nd round? 3rd round? Are you talking about Penn State's John Urschel?? I would be very surprised if he was ever in the CFL... I'm assuming this has been covered but does he even qualify for NI status?
  21. A little too pricey for me... Suber can still be a key cog in our secondary for a few years
  22. cuz it would be great to have a reliable NI starting safety! I just want a good football team, don't care about vengeance on the fan forums
  23. I believe he's also on the last year of his contract (I could be wrong about that) so he'll wanna start and play well so he can cash in on his next contract
  24. This deal will get done... It would be nice to see a little more money go in these players pockets... that's what I respect about the CFL, it's the "Blue Collar" pro sports league.... these guys work hard but they don't make much more than the average professional that works just as hard
  25. I've always thought he had the mental part of the game down.... he reads defenses better than most rookies, he knows how to run an offense, he has a quick release and can find the open receivers.... but his physical attributes are lacking, not a great arm, and almost zero ability to scramble... I think Mike sums it up nicely, he could turn out to be a very capable backup but never really a reliable starter
