I don't mind the changes... I like that Kelly has usurped the Hallets as the next man up at S... though if we're using another Canadian in the secondary, it would be nice to put another American on the DL... problem is if we hypothetically dressed Fox and scratched one of Thomas or Schmek... what Canadian comes on the roster? We basically have no options at this time ... the team really needs to upgrade Canadian depth this offseason

I agree Ford is great but my point is it just shows the quality of our defensive backs when the leading INT guy is not even the best db on the team... Put the O in MOP... as in the "outstanding" in "most outstanding player"... though the correct saying is "putting the O in MOP"... but it's Sask so I don't want to set the bar too high

I'd have Bonds and Nichols ahead of him... the reason Bonds doesn't have sexy stats is because no one throws at him... why does no one throw at him? because he always has his receiver locked down Caveat: I'm no expert at anything... just my opinion

I know it would ne funny if Sask ends up with the worst QB in this shuffle... but I just don't see that happening... Sask would re-sign Harris before signing McCheese.... and that would be the right move

unfortunately that might not be possible with a few injuries last game... I guess we'll find out later in the week... I'll be honest... I don't hate that the riders won last week (other than the fact that I generally hate the riders winning).... now we gotta keep playing meaningful football and have a chance to lock up first, at home, in front of a sold out crowd, on what should be a beautiful Oct evening... couldn't be better!

So Edm averaged almost 39 points per game in their wins during a 5-1 stretch... only to play Wpg and put up 14 and 20*... Ham was averaging over 33 ppg in their 4-0 run... only to match up against Wpg and score 10... the D certainly makes us nervous at times... but at the end of he day they get the job done... *not counting the last TD that clearly wasn't a TD... and also noting most of those points were in garbage time

exactly right... culture starts at the top... Mace - jury still out on how good of a coach he will be - is working under Reynolds and O'Day... now compare that to the Bombers hierarchy and there's a clear difference... well his resumé includes 3 years as a "pass game coordinator" and 3 years as a "run game coordinator"... it's almost like the guy is qualified to be a coordinator of offenses... I wonder if a job like that exists 🤔

Garbutt has had the occasional flash... but nothing near the consistency of Jeffcoat... I agree that's it's nice our secondary can play well without a pass rush... but it bothers me to think how good the D could be if we had consistent pressure on the QB

He did almost lead a Grey Cup winning drive against, arguably, a better secondary in the 2021 Grey Cup... key word, "almost"

yeah but don't you know the third year option isn't really an option at all... the team can only offer a slight pay increase... 😉
