Why do a lot of people seem to think the WIL LBers job is primarily in pass coverage...

I very specifically chose my words when I said "may not have won"... it was looking like OT with Toronto having all the momentum... of course, you never know what will happen... and I recall a game late last season when Hamilton forced OT and appeared to have all the momentum... how did that one turn out again? 😁 we're still waiting for the command centre to explain why Duke Williams' catch that clearly bounced off the turf in the 2021 West final was allowed to stand as a catch... don't hold your breath...

It appears losing Harris, Lawler, and Dejarlais is much more difficult to overcome than we had anticipated.... I have faith in the team to work out the kinks and get the offense moving... remember, we still have Zach Collaros and I wouldn't trade him for any other QB in the league right now

There's a bit of different feeling about this win... in the first three against Ott and Hammy... the Bombers started out slow but eventually controlled the game and won on their terms... In this game, if not for a colossal fail by Bede.... the Bomber may not have won... it felt like the first win this year where they didn't "control" the victory. That said, they are still 4-0 and I expect this game tape to serve as a lesson... if we (the fans) recognize there needs to be improvement... so does the team

I think if they bring in anyone (if Wilson's injury is as bad as it potentially could be).... whether that be Watson or Awe... they will be to back-up Clements... I think the club really likes him and it's his job to lose in the coming weeks.

1) Leggio - 3/3 and 2XPM.... long was only 32 yards but 3/3 is still important 2) Bighill - was all over the field all night... as per usual 3) Rose - nice comeback game after struggling to start the season... tone setting pick-6 early on HH - Wolitarsky... had a nice game (first TD of the season) on a day the offense wasn't very good

I'm not saying that Bombers management made the wrong choice.... just saying, at this moment, Harris is clearly the superior back... if he only ends up playing 8-10 games or significnatly wears down as the season progresses... our management will be proven right

Biggest take away for me... Andrew Harris is still much better than any RB we have... and most other RBs in the league... if he plays even 14 games this year, it'll be a miss by our management.

I didn't watch the game but I really noticed this in the replays... there didn't seem to be a db anywhere near the receivers on any of his TD passes. The Bombers goal is to go 1-0 every week... the players probably don't even know who they play in week 5...

I would disagree that it has been "non-existent"... it hasn't excelled yet but the stats through three weeks show (subtracting QB stats since they're just short yardage plunges and scrambles): Week 1: 14 carries for 40 yards (by far the worst) Week 2: 23 carries for 112 yards Week 3: 19 carries for 83 yards that's a 4.2 yards per carry average (with 2 one yard TDs)... I agree that's not amazing and I would also like to see improvement in the run game... but people acting like the run game is a completely non-existent is a bit of an over exaggeration.

Watching Taylor's reaction is chilling... he knows he's just ruined someone's career, or worse... and you can tell he feels terrible about it.

I think you're mixing and matching posters to make it seem like everyone is a little dyslexic... Most agreed Rose appears to be playing through an injury (evidenced by him being in a walking boot after suffering an injury in practice)... Only one or two people were adamant Thompson was a major problem... Only one person is saying Rose was bad last year... and that person is known to try and stir pot I agree, let's hope Rose sits until he's 100%... better he sits out a few games in June/July than play on a nagging injury in Oct/Nov.
