It's really too bad... it would've been nice to see what Willy 5 years ago could do on this current team...

I was thinking the same thing today... I clicked on his twitter profile to see what he looks like and it's just a picture of the bombers logo...

Congrats to LaPo... I’m oddly torn about this... prior to the playoffs I wouldn’t welcomed a change at OC... but after winning the cup, I would’ve been happy bringing the whole gang back...

especially with the depth this roster currently has... BPA is the way to go...

To me, the biggest difference between Zach and Matt is Zach’s ability to recognize and evade pressure and extend plays... there were more than a few plays that Zach completes where Matt would’ve taken a sack or thrown the back away... otherwise they’re very similar... Is the switch to Zach the thing that put this team over the top from contender to champion?... possibly... would this team still have won it all with a fully healthy Matt Nichols?... also quite possible... seems pointless to beat it to death...

I completely agree... except this is peak Nichols... the real question is how often will he play like this?... unfortunately the answer is not too often...

It should be pointed out that Chris Van Zyl is a very good OL... Bryant is just better

Well if we happen to lose LaPo... it appears there are some good options available (not necessarily in this order): 1. Buck Pierce - protege of LaPo for the last 4 years... might be ready for the next step 2. Jason Maas - some people don't like his temperament... but he'd be the OC, not the guy calling the shots... him and O'Shea have a history... 3. Ryan Dinwiddie - Protege under Dickensen for 3 (or 4?) years... former QB and HC candidate for a couple teams 4. Pete Costanza - Some "can't stand ya" but I think Pete would be another decent option... also a Dickenson/Hufnagel protege likely ready for the next step.. I think we'll be in good shape no matter what happens...

I was there... Matt Nichols speech was incredible... very heartfelt and left many in tears... I think we can all agree he's not the perfect QB... but he was such an integral part of turning this team around and any failure to recognize that is just disrespectful and ignorant... let's give Matt the respect he deserves!

I like this group of receivers... I'm not sure there's a bona fide #1 in that group... but there's no free pass for the defense... all of those guys can be dangerous...

based on absolutely zero background knowledge... I could see Jake Thomas as a potential retiree... he's had a fantastic career as a late round guy (sometimes a fringe player who the Bombers tried to replace) and now he can leave a champion...

Did you see Bailey on the sidelines after that called back TD?... he was so fired up and you could tell he loved being part of this team... from a guy who (IMO) was way under-utilized... I bet he felt that way too... but he proved he's a team player, willing to play whatever role he's given... total Mike O'Shea guy... that's the reason he has stuck around all season and will hopefully be back...
