True... and these players were all CFL superstars...

That's true to an extent... but we've never really seen a true NFL superstar, in their prime, compete in the CFL... Most guys who have come to the CFL and failed are not, and probably never were, at the level of the list that I quoted...

In my opinion (or I’m just guessing) this isn’t really the intent of this question... of course the superstars in the nfl would be superstars in the cfl... I think he was wondering what secondary/mid level guys would excel in the cfl... a few guys off the top of my head... bills Qb Josh Allen (and he may still become an nfl superstar) would be dominant in the cfl... NYJ DE/LB CJ Mosley... Steelers rb/wr Jaylen Samuels... even Taysom Hill who has been discussed here a lot as the nfl streveler... mostly guys that are extremely athletic and versatile...

I actually recall most people around here saying that Edm got worse last off season... going from Reilly to Harris...

I'd agree with you but also add that that was the toughest game for the Bombers... that was probably more just the Bombers being off than the riders being great... but still, this Bombers team absolutely dismantled Calgary and Hamilton and struggled against Sask...

Congrats to LaPo... I’m oddly torn about this... prior to the playoffs I wouldn’t welcomed a change at OC... but after winning the cup, I would’ve been happy bringing the whole gang back...

especially with the depth this roster currently has... BPA is the way to go...

To me, the biggest difference between Zach and Matt is Zach’s ability to recognize and evade pressure and extend plays... there were more than a few plays that Zach completes where Matt would’ve taken a sack or thrown the back away... otherwise they’re very similar... Is the switch to Zach the thing that put this team over the top from contender to champion?... possibly... would this team still have won it all with a fully healthy Matt Nichols?... also quite possible... seems pointless to beat it to death...

I completely agree... except this is peak Nichols... the real question is how often will he play like this?... unfortunately the answer is not too often...

It's amazing how everyone stepped it up when it counted... Many of us, myself included, were concerned about Bighill having stepped back a slight bit this year... suddenly when the games started to matter... old Bighill was back in full form...
